Re: AK on dodgy board

I think it's fine. Given how short he is, I don't see any other way to play it.

Re: How do you like to play against maniacs like this??

Okay, so say we 4B pre-flop, and he calls (I'm gonna ignore the more obvious case of if he 5 bets pre-flop since we just get it all in there), what do we do on the flop if we don't hit? Do we call...

How do you like to play against maniacs like this??

Playing NL200, guy ran at around 65/35. Very bad. He'd bet every street until someone showed aggression. For example, I saw him 3B JJ pre-flop (from 8 to 64!!), then bet 3 streets when checked to...

Re: Anyone ever get a callous (??) on their left foot?

I do think I have wider feet than normal.

I definitely hate that about shoes, in general. Why do they get thinner as you get close to the toes? People's feet certainly don't get thinner as you...

Anyone ever get a callous (??) on their left foot?

Okay, so I've had what I guess is a callous between the two smallest toes on my left foot. Basically a small area of hard skin between the toes. It's something that's only been there since I took...

Re: 200NL 99 Not sure about my line

Depends a bit on my current image, but I generally raise donk bets like that on the flop. If not, and I call, I'm folding to the turn bet. And, as played, on the river, I'd probably just call.

Re: 1/2: Flush draw v. aggro fish oop

I'd just call the flop raise in this situation. You've got good odds to call, and since he seems to be an aggro donkey, he'll likely pay you off if you hit.

Re: ***SSNL LIFE THREAD NOV***

I've found a pair of sunglasses that I like, Maui Jim Pali. They retail for $299, and for the most part, they're $299 online as well. Then, I came across this EBAY auction:

Re: ***SSNL LIFE THREAD NOV***

Thanks for your kind thoughts, everyone. I'm a little better today, I guess. I just went to play a round of golf at our local 3 par. It's a dive of a course, but it's easy to get out there to play...

Re: ***SSNL LIFE THREAD NOV***

Ugh...

One of my family's dogs just died this afternoon. My dad was the only one home with her, and he's not very useful, so I don't know if it would have made a difference if someone more...

Re: Sen. Feinstein Letter

Pretty much the exact same thing that I got from her, back when I sent her a message before the UIGEA was passed. Got pretty much the same thing from Boxer, too.

Re: 100NL TT FD and middle pair

I think I'd bet the turn, and barring hitting a T on the river, it'd be the last bit of money I put in.

Re: 100NL JJ rr pot flops OESD

I probably would have just put the rest in on the turn, and definitely would have called on the river, as played.

Re: very standard 3bet pot cbet or not?

Without any history my 3 bet range out of the blinds is relatively tight, so I'd c-bet here pretty much always.

Re: @#%!@#@$.....I hate folding sets.

This sucks so bad. I think that a fold is probably correct, readless, but I'm quite the station when I have a set, so I'd probably call in the heat of the moment and then cry when he inevitably...

Re: quick flop decision in 3bet pot

I think I'd rather bet the flop, and check behind on the turn. I suppose if there's lots of history, you gotta start thinking about mixing up your play.

Re: Weeee...small suited connectors are fun!

Maybe it's a bit nitty, but I fold this pre-flop.

As played, I just call the flop. You're getting good immediate odds to hit.
