Re: Chips in pot in PLO question

Don't most NL players keep track of the pot, anyway?

Maybe I don't to the exact dollar, but it wouldn't be hard to do if I was concentrating (or dealing). I don't even think it's something I've...

Re: Yet another NYC raid

[ QUOTE ]
The club scene is pretty dead in NY because the constant raids prevent larger, better places from taking hold for casual players. I constantly get invites to new clubs, but haven't played...

Re: Unusual and/or disgusting beverages

I just thought of another one. Vichy soda sold at Stewart's. It's some sort of old fashioned thing and I think it might be worse than Cel-Ray

Maybe it's meant for cooking or something and not...

Re: Busing to AC: Where to stop to get free casino monies?

I've recently gone on Academy for $31 r/t from Port Authority. They game $20 at Trump Marina and Claridge. It seems pretty standard procedure.

Re: Small takes player looking to take trip to East Coast Casino

Go to AC. You won't find reasonable rates unless you're going weekday. There are lots of rooms to play in (everyone should play borgata and trop at some point and I have a soft spot for the Trop)....

Re: is it better to fold pre-flop in an easy game w/ jacks?

I don't think I would ever fold this hand for $20. I think I'm with the crowd that would make it $40-50 to go, hoping to isolate against AK, and be willing to push the rest if I get re-raised again...

Re: AC closing in on Vegas?

One serious thing that separates AC and Vegas is that you can get a decent room last minute in Vegas for around $100-150 on the strip on weekends.

Unless you're comped, you're looking at $400+ in...
