Re: I BLUFF YOU

I'm not sure I like this. If you really had a king, he would expect you to have check raised the flop, right?

I don't see QQ-99 folding.

Re: AKo UI versus Lags

Bet the turn, for value.

What to do if raised depends on which one raises you and who's still in the pot. If UTG raises I'd probably give up, and if UTG folds and Button raises I probabably call...

Re: A preflop question for the 2-3 style blind structure

Well it costs us less to isolate with a hand that has showdown value UI, like pairs and ace high hands, that are ahead of his range.

So I think we want to open up our raising range to make this HU...

A preflop question for the 2-3 style blind structure

Last night, I was playing in a blind structure in which the small blind is 2/3 of the big blind. Heres a sample situation:

Some folds, a loose/passive limps, some more folds, and the LAG button...

Re: T7s vs lagtag

I was thinking the 3 flush river would "scare" him into checking. And he might. But you're right, he won't check behind nearly often enough to make a donk more profitable than a check raise.

Re: T7s vs lagtag

I don't think I'm folding UI--given the description, there's a possibility he's on a draw, and with the pair we will beat that draw.

That said, a lot of his range (sets) will also have the trips...

Re: KK...a thought process in the heat of battle.

Are our only options fold here or call down?

I'd probably call the turn, closing the action, then fold any non-K non-3 river.

Well it's definitely close. I think QTs is a raise. Are the blinds loose/passive?

Re: 99 hits turn straight

Given that you limped preflop and didn't bet the flop, I think I'd just call the turn. The pot is small, so giving a cheap card doesn't cost you very much. And I think you would be able to make...
