50NL: 20K hands and my BB/100 is...

1 BB/100. I know it's insignificant, but it feels gross to run so bad. I know I've also made mistakes, but just playing TAG position poker at this level should make for an easy 4 BB/100. I work on...

Re: 50NL: AK flops a K and gets donked into (big preflop pot)

Ok good. I did shove for the reasons you all stated above. I just need to figure out how to stop losing money to these players who limp and call OOP and outflop me every time.

Re: 50NL: AA facing a turn check raise

You think he does this with KQ, KJ, KT? What else could he have?

50NL: AA facing a turn check raise

Villain is 21/7/1, but his turn AF is 6. Only 340 hands on him though. Maybe I was affected by running into sets all day, but I still think this was a good long term fold.

50NL: AK flops a K and gets donked into (big preflop pot)

Villain is 18/12/3. Is this one of those spots where calling is best? A raise will probably only be called if I am beat and a fold is obviously too nitty right?

Re: 50NL: Fold a flopped set from SB in a limped pot?

He essentially moved in for $25 over my $9 raise, but I wasn't sure if I could ever get away from this anyway.

50NL: KK gets check raised on a drawy flop

Villain was 21/8/3. Do I call here because so many draws are possible? I did bet into 3 opponents which should represent strength, but I might be assuming too much about my opponents thinking...

50NL: Fold a flopped set from SB in a limped pot?

Villain was 15/7/3. Reasonable spot to fold a set?

50NL: AA facing pot sized river bet

Villain was 27/11/1. The turn check was a misclick which I am still pissed about, but it happened and I still had a tough decision on the river.

50NL: AK UTG gets re-raised by the button

Villain is 13/6/3. Is it standard to just fold here and not bloat the pot OOP? Flat calling seems like the worst option.

Re: 50NL: Pot control line check with TPGK

This wasn't my normal line, but should the line I took just not even be taken ever?

I kinda wanted to slow down this player in the future against me. Even though the player does not have a big...

50NL: Pot control line check with TPGK

Villain is 19/9/1.4 over 1300 hands. I don't know why I played this hand so weird, but this opponent seems to love getting tricky with me and I just felt like playing a smallish pot.

Re: 50NL: Down 10 buyins in 7K hands (Help me analyze some hands)

Almost every hand I play they are playing back at me strongly. I honestly get raised like 80% of the time I bet, even though I am like 12/9/3. These super passive tables/players all of the sudden...

Re: 50NL: Down 10 buyins in 7K hands (Help me analyze some hands)

I am confused now. I am was just hoping for players that wanted to help to scan down the list of 6 hands and give advice on how the hands should be played.

Re: 50NL: Down 10 buyins in 7K hands (Help me analyze some hands)

My bad. I just thought it would be easier to just go down the line and say...

#1 You suck
#2 You are terrible
#3 Quit poker now
etc

Next time I'll do multiple threads.

50NL: Down 10 buyins in 7K hands (Help me analyze some hands)

After 8K hands at 50NL I was up 10 buyins and 7K hands later I am back to even.

After looking at my pokertracker HHs I see that most of the downswing is just from gross bad beats or coolers. ...

Re: Typical Swings at 50NL?

I'm just joking around. It doesn't seem possible to run this bad for much longer. I'll be outta this funk in no time.

Re: Typical Swings at 50NL?

I'll prove you wrong by playing well and going on a 18 buyin downswing. I am already at 6 /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Re: Typical Swings at 50NL?

I just swear to god that my cards are face up. No one folds when I miss and no one ever has a hand when I hit. This needs to end.

Re: Typical Swings at 50NL?

Well I've had a 42 buyin downswing in the $12 9-man SNGs after beating the game for a nice ROI over 3000+ SNGs. Weird [censored] can happen, even when you are playing well. It's scary to think that...
