Re: smithfraud-c & zlob mediacodec trojans

There are smitfraud-specific fixes, but AVG & Spybot have worked well for me to eliminate smitfraud/zlob. Did you run the Spybot updates before using 'Search & Destroy'? AVG may be a help for you,...

Re: TT, $5, 4th hand vs maniac & smoothcall

Two villains. The one who pushed just arrived, presumably losing half his stack at another table in one of the first two hands, and gaining thirty chips in the third hand.

After villain1 pushed...

TT, $5, 4th hand vs maniac & smoothcall

UTG+1 arrived at hand #3, then jammed all 1620 chips. No read on MP1.

Re: 1.50 turbo, JJ flops top set---QJs flops TP3K

Oh, yes I called the PF hoping for 1-2 pair and/or a spade/str8 draw, but it cost me....

Re: 1.50 turbo, JJ flops top set---QJs flops TP3K

TF-
Understood. Flop bet is best, turn raise is necessary. Getting more money in when I'm ahead is more important than any of my image considerations.

I felt so good about your instructive words,...

1.50 turbo, JJ flops top set---QJs flops TP3K

Please help me fix these holes, still learning to be more than a break-even player!

I got hit in the face today, but I'm not sure about extracting more with made hands, and how often I'm good...

Re: FP-Stop raising my blind! - defending with A9o

I'm probably leaking here - suspecting that the average villain can't have great hands on three consecutive big blinds. Thanks.

Given his late position, and his taking down (not just playing) six...

Re: FP-Stop raising my blind! - defending with A9o

Thanks Teddie. I'm trying to learn ways of fighting back. I suspect the reraise preflop is best (no limpers!)

Given the passive call preflop, does my bigstack benefit from leading out 1/3 to ½ of...

FP-Stop raising my blind! - defending with A9o

I think I play weakly with a bigstack. I was afraid I was out of my league, being attacked by a more skilled player. This is my first post - I considered asking in MTT, as I was on my way to a final...
