Re: Brag: Fixed on of my leaks

If either Th or Jh had been a K or a A then the kicker Q wouldn't have been relevant ?
Do I understand that correct ?
Because then sec. pocket card Q doesn't count.
(knowing of course with K or A...

Re: Do you c-bet here?

A little read dependent...I usually c-bet this with at 5-6$
to try and take the pot right there. If you saw villain fold sometimes after limping in early position than it's a good chance to stab at...

Re: nl50sh: 3-bet pot vs \"the cleaner\"

I'm 4-betting QQ, KK, AA and AK here.
I'm calling his 3-bet with any pocket pair.
If u believe he 3-bets light and might c-bet 80%, then I'd probably check that flop even with 22 and raise his...

Re: Absolute Poker Scandal: An Inside Job

Regarding the nickname "watchdog". Did anyone sometime think about why "watchdog" was chosen ? Maybe that's a hint, too ?!?
"Watching" in this context meaning: I watch every table I like, because I...

Re: nl25 -- cbet defense fundamentals

Given the situation that OP thinks there will be a c-bet nearly 95% of the time from villain, I also tend to play back sometimes...in this case I'd go for a check/raise on the flop to try and take...

Re: Multitabling Advice

I'd like to jump on that train, too. Also tried for the first time 2 tables at NL10.
What do u guys think is a reasonable number of hands played at one level if u usually only 2 or 3 table max ?
Do...

Re: NL 50 valuebet river here?

See it from villains point of view:
Hero raises pre flop, villain calls having worst postion post flop.
Hero leads out on K high flop, two spades, villain flat calls.
Looks like villain thinks...

Re: NL50: A9s in rr pot OOP. Lets do it by decison by decision

As played I'd be happy to take the pot down now - bet between 10$ and 14$. If villain calls/raises I would be done with that hand. If he shoves I would think about calling, putting him on QQ or KK.

Re: 50nl another PF question: on the button against raise

A raiser, a caller (giving you already good pot odds) and you will have position - I call here 90% !

Re: This is a standard button fold, right?

I tend to call because of position. But I'm also ready to fold to a c-bet on a bunch of flops giving me no further oppurtunities.

Re: [50NL] Raise \"to define my hand\" or just call down?

Due to his preflop raise (without reads) and being OOP after the flop I would assume a tight range, AQ, AK, QQ+
His flop bet could be c-bet (AQ and AK) or value already QQ+.
On his turn bet you...

Re: Post your difficult AK situations

To OP: I'd shove here to try and take the pot down uncontested. Your stack is still big enough to scare players behind you - taking a side that s.o. behind you wakes up with a monster.

Re: KQ Facing Button All-in Re-raise

I agree with just shoving pre due to stack size and good position. Taking down the blinds without a fight here is good.
As played I'd always call here, too.

Re: 20$ Rebuy, failed bluff in late stage - reasonable play or suicide?

Like previous posters wrote, I'd also prefer a reraise to 7.5k or 8k pre-flop and flop is a raise too, to find out a bit more where you probably stand.
Not done that way, on Turn I'd call again and...
