Re: Hobbs. Says I Played Wrong

Just call the flop, raise the (nearly) blank turn if SB bets.
If he 3-bets turn call and C/C the riv.
No reason to go to WA/WB call down on the turn, based on what you've seen so far, plus he is a...

Re: Tommy Angelo

I'm told he has a book coming out shortly. Maybe that'd be a good place to start if the fee is a problem. You could get a taste, at least, before you buy.

Re: big argument over super std hand

I like to defend BB with a call PF, CR the flop if I hit anything at all, and lead turn. Then see what happens.

I don't get the WA/WB reference here. The CO's range here is probably pretty broad....

Re: Possibly boring river decision

Against an unkown quantity, and getting 10/1 on my money, I call him down. He's probably going to show you a flush, but at least 1/10 of the time he'll have something you can beat.

It is also a...

Re: Foxwoods $10/$20 -- Small PP in SB vs a Possible Steal: Line Check

Check raise the flop and lead the turn. No matter what falls. See what he does then and take it from there.

HU your pair is pretty good. Don't surrender the lead. When you check, you're just...

Place greater emphasis on Big Cards and "Top Pair" hands and less on draws because the tightness of the table generally will not give you odds for your draws. You will play fewer hands but play them...
