The storytelling works really well if isolated into 3 sections: The Island, The Crane Wife and The Rest (like Shankhill (a masterpiece of macabre imagery) and Valencia.) I haven't listened to it...

Never heard of the band before the OP. Album of the year. I was so impressed I just went out and picked up Picaresque as well.
