Re: A question of continuing after Questionable Limp

[ QUOTE ]
I don't see how you can do anything but fold here. You don't have the odds to draw.

[/ QUOTE ]

also, don't overlimp preflop....

Re: Aussie Needs Your help ... A happy mod is a good mod (LC)

[ QUOTE ]
I'm totally not qualified to comment here but I'll repeat something I read in a post and you can decide if it fits. Is your data base so large that it is time to start a new one for speed...

Re: Kojack and nasty river

[ QUOTE ]
I would pay him off. If vilain holds 22-55 his hand just tuned into crap. If he holds 87 he may be blufing. AF is pretty high.

Re: shell script question

A very easy solution would be something like:

find /path/to/dir -mtime X -delete

This should delete all files in the directory older than X days. I haven't tried it so just look it up in the...

Re: Raise/call river donk with set?

It depends on the limper but usually, raising 55 in this spot is fine.

when he bets on this drawless board into 4 people, I fold 99. You are only ahead of 89 and given that you have two 9s already...

Re: Massive Hero fold

[ QUOTE ]
We need at least 33% equity on the flop if we want to cap

[/ QUOTE ]

Why 33%? There are 4 to the turn, so hero pays 25% of the pot. If he gets back more than those 25% on average...

If mp1 would not post blind and just open raise and then LP cold call, is it standard SB defense with weak suited kings?

You really only beat AK

[/ QUOTE ]

really? /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Re: ATo when your three bet and you flop your ace, what do you do?

I would probably check-raise the flop to see where I'm at.

Re: 2/4 live AKs

I don't know exactly how your game plays but in my local 3/6 live this is a 9 100%. In my game I fold here and never ever throw away the best hand.

Re: 99 in BB vs. PFR and a board that gets scarier and scarier...

[ QUOTE ]

K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif is a terrible card for you, which makes the check-fold on the end better. If you check-folded an offsuit brick, that would be pretty bad.

Re: A6s

I'd play it the same. I would also think about check/folding the turn but that's too weak so I bet/fold too.

Re: Q8o - 0.50/1.00 Stars - Standard?

don't raise the flop. you have nothing.

when you finally make your hand, betting out is definitely better than checking it down.

Re: in which i own someone then fold

[ QUOTE ]
I'd lead the turn, his flop cap reeks of FD or monster, and you don't really want to give a free card or lose an extra bet to a monster. You're hardly ever good on the river.

Re: (1/2) A few hands from my session last night

Hand 1: On the flop your hand is garbage. Your overcard outs are very weak, there is a flushdraw out there and, most important, there are 4 people to act behind you. fold flop even getting 13:1. oh,...
