Re: JJ CRAI turn line

The check raise all in on the turn seems horrible to me, if you are determined to get your money in at least push the turn so a club is making a mistake calling

100% agree with Jackatwork and would like to take his idea further and won't even call his 3bet. It's too difficult to play this on the turn and because of his stats, any bet he make is a...

JJ CRAI turn line

Villain is 25/6/1.2 - no other reads

I didn't see any point getting in on the flop as I'd probably only be a small favouite. Is this line ok, I'm not sure if it was the best turn card to do this...

Re: [Nl100] AA facing river push

I think a better line would be to b/c the river. This is better because you get more value from Jx hands and are less likely to be faced with an awkward decision like this.

As played, if the...

A high straight CRAI on river on paired board - BvB

Villain is 15/10/2.2

I decided to lead the turn again as, I felt his range consisted more of draws and pocket pairs that Qx hands. I figured it was a lot easier for me to rep a Qx hand.

I got...

I don't necessarily disagree with this but can you explain your thinking behind it. The villain has an aggression factor of infinite and has called big bets...

TT - rivers top set on 3 to flush board against 16/9/oo

PF's meh I considered a squeeze, but UTG seamed pretty tight and I'd been fairly active.

Anyone have any notes on these guys, they've got reasonable winrates over 2000+ hands on NL50.

TPGK - value betting myself to death

Is this a standard fold? Would it have been better to check the turn for some pot control. Or should I have c/c a reasonable sized bet on the river?

Nut straight on 3 to flush board raised AI on river

This was my first hand on the table so no reads.

Is this too tight? I don't see many villains raising AI with a lower straight, two pair or set here. Could I have played this any differently?

Re: NL50 - A5s, deep, TP, Turndonk

I call here if MP has folded and folded to any kind of 2/3 pot bet or more on a blank river. I'm always unsure of what is the best line to take in situation like this so I'd be interested to see what...

I hate spots like this because so often I find I'm behind, in this case you were right........he was an idot, I called and he had QQ.

Just calling on flop seems good, but why are you checking turn?

Because this play is pretty aggro and is likely to bet 9x on the turn and commit himself to the pot. Once...

Button probably has a A9 or K9. Maybe even 78 if he's aggro. I personally push this flop

Hows my line with bottom two in limped pot

Villain is 24/12/3.03

Is this pretty standard? I didn't 3bet on the flop as the board was so dry, figured with this line I get most value from 9x hands. Any thoughts

Re: 100NL trips on the flop n multiway : to bet or not to bet

I'd fold pf as KQ sucks OOP in multiway raised pots. As for the flop I like to lead as well, except I'd rather lead for about $12. You get value from FDs, and mid pocket pairs. I think leading out...

Re: Another Pocket AA Question

I think a shoving is ok here, the donkey is likely to call with so many pocketpairs and combo draws. I don't mind a call then getting all in in a safe turn. I'd be far more worried if this was a...

Re: 10NL - Best PF line with TT OOP against a gross aggro overbetter

I like a call pf and a CRAI on a non A,K,Q flop providing he does a large Cbet. I woudn't want to get AI preflop either as at best your going to be 50:50 against AK, AQ etc. I think Qrag rag would be...
