Can someone please tell me HOW to calculate odds of flopping certain hands? For ex. flopping a pair with any two cards is about 32%. Why?

How do you calculate the odds of flopping certain cards?

Ex. Why are the odds of flopping a set when you hold a pair 12%? How do you get 12%?

Ex. you ask the calculator to list all the multiples of 8?
