It's not popular because holdem (specifically NL) is the game on TV. People want to play the TV game.

IMO the split pot games have the least varience of any, for just that reason.

I like that line, its pretty standard - especially if you feel you can get substantial river action (which you did). The other factor is that you have better odds than a naked flush draw - gutshot...

Pretty extreme example but it works

The razz notations for the two hands are AAKQ5 vs 22KQ5.
Each hand has a king and queen as the non-playing cards.

Limit is about winning/saving single bets. Like in any form of poker, all you can do is play a hand optimally and wait for the long run to get there.

Also remember that the odds are different...

The second hand has the lowest first card, it wins. If the first card matches, move to the second, and so forth until someone wins....

Correct. I would separate studying the odds and playing poker into different timeframes. The most basic percentages (flush/straight draws, flopping sets, etc) should be memorized.

PokerTek is clearly an unbiased source of information regarding electronic poker tables and I'm glad their CEO at least knows what they do as a business.

Early MTT, I tend to interpret minraises to mean "I want to raise and I'm too dumb...
