Re: Best instrumental parts to songs?
The first thing that came to my mind was the part about 2/3 through "Light My Fire" by The Doors.
I also really like the intro of Elliott Smith's "Shooting Star." It sounds so chaotic, yet...

Re: New Laptop.... (What to get?)
I'm looking for similar to the OP. I really wanted to spend more like $800, but I want to be able to 4 table and that means 1600x1200, which means 17", right? If there was a 15.5" that supported 4...

US player looking for new site
I play 1/2 and 2/4 NL and I am looking for a site with either a good bonus (5x-10x) or good rakeback (>30%). It has to accept US players. Quality of the games is very important also, and if one site...

Re: TPTK against very strong line
I think I probably fold here preflop. Villain's range is pretty narrow and just about all of it is ahead of us.
If we do call, that is one of the best flops we can hope for, so if we're just...

Re: Post About Wilco
I discovered YHF first and I really liked a couple of songs, gave the rest of the album a chance and it really grew on me. Next I listened to A Ghost is Born and it was even better. Being There and...

Re: Playing AK like a little girl.
I think the preflop play has been talked about enough. As played, what about that check behind on the flop? You have TPTK and there is a flush and straight draw and you aren't betting? TJs and 67s...

Re: 400nl - LOL fold AK preflop?
I don't see how shoving is profitable here. I think we should give UTG+1 some credit for his raise. Yeah he does raise 25% of his hands preflop, but 30/25 means he has at least some idea of what's...

Never played with villain before.
Villain has $367 and I cover.
Hero is dealt A /images/graemlins/diamond.gifQ /images/graemlins/diamond.gif in the BB.
UTG calls $6, villain calls $6, CO raises...

Re: 400NL - AJo vs. a LAG
Maybe I'm just running bad, but if I shove, I either expect villain to fold or to call me with a bigger pair or flush draw. 40/20 players still have a brain and I don't see why he'd call an all in...

Re: I [censored] up, 200bb 5-10
By betting more than $600 on the turn we're goin to lose villain when he has AK, AQ, and A9, which given the OP's description, are likely hands for him at that point. He will still call with a set,...

Re: 200NL: Set in a blind battle, big pot
[ QUOTE ]
After he check-raises me on turn I'm left with a tough decision. Folding certainly isn't an option here, because we are both crazy enough to take these lines with a lot of hands. Call...

Re: AQ against TAG.

A pfr of 14 means he raises a lot of garbage. You should RR preflop. I like the way you played it postflop, but you need to valuebet the river.

Yeah but he's UTG so he is...

Re: 100NL 6m AA river decision
This looks like a push. We only have $50 left and there's $70 in the pot. Villain is passive so he will call with more weak hands than he will bet with.
