Re: NL25: AA. comments please

[ QUOTE ]
Just raise preflop. There is no reason to be tricky at these stakes.

Yeah I agree...think I was just being a little self-indulgent here /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Re: NL25: AA. comments please

I disguise my hand. I think if I come out raising the button raise its fairly obvious I have a big hand.

I got a bit cheeky with the 2nd call pf. Was expecting MP to raise again, which I was then...

Re: 25NL range query

I'm not a big fan of 3betting this PF due to position. On the button I would 3bet but not in 1st position.

On the flop either lead, or check raise. Check calling doesn't really give us much feel...

Re: Flop straight on draw heavy board. Line check.

Yeah I think I should have raised the river looking back at it, and got a bit more value from it.

Didn't want to raise the flop because I knew if he was on a big draw he would likely push and I...

Re: Spew with AA?

No I don't agree.

On a rainbow board with no draws hes very likely going to flat call if he has a very strong hand like 22 or 8x.

I push expecting his range to include 55-JJ

Re: AA on an ugly board

Nasty spot.

The decision on the turn is either commit yourself or fold.

And in this situation I'm folding. I think if you're not already behind on the flop you are very likely behind on the...

Re: NL50 - to call a huge river-overbet with str8.

I was assuming that the stats posted were for UTG and it was a typo.

Re: KK against a big stack

Yeah its an easy fold considering the stack sizes. You do not want to be in a hand worth this much with just an overpair.

I call the 3bet and bet out with a blank turn if he checks. Alot of guys...

Re: NL25: JJ tough preflop spot. Missed quads for a triple up. Untilt

I call to see a flop. If button re-raises then I'll let the hand go. But yeah, mainly I'm calling hoping to hit a set. I think the SB's stack is deep enough to warrant a call.

Re: i feel dumb how will u play that

I'm folding to his cr on the flop every time. It stinks of AK!

Re: NL50 - to call a huge river-overbet with str8.

With stats like that I'm leaning towards a fold in this situation. Its possible hes on a full house. In retrospect you should have bet on the turn (as I'm sure you now know). It would have given you...

Re: QT in the bb, call down light against loose UTG?

I would have played it the same way.

Its a dangerous, connecting, draw heavy board for your two pair.

Re: [50NL]; TT, meh Flop; Bet turn?

I would check and evaluate the river. In this spot I could very likely put him on a hand like AK.
Hes possibly calling because hes afraid your pfrr may mean aces aces but regardless I don't think...

Re: NL10 - JJ and tricky turn decision

Yeah cheers. Its funny, looking back on this you're right - i guess this isnt a tricky decision. Still a bit of rust to get rid of on the NL10's :-P

Hey all,

Re: 50nl QJs TP+FD

Looks like you could be up against a set. I'm calling the bet above ($15 into a $42 pot) and folding to a strong bet on the turn, providing we dont hit the draw of course!

Re: 50NL TPTK river decsion

when he calls your turn bet I think you're in trouble. I check the river and fold to strength.

Re: 25nl where I get called a nit

I dont like this play at all. Bet out on the flop. Why call the turn if you're gonna fold the river?

Re: KQ TPTK calldown

Looks good to me. I agree CO could be playing a range of mid pocket pairs the way he has played this.

Re: I can\'t beat 25nl, HELP!

Check your positional stats. Ideally you should be playing the least amount of hands from UTG and the most from the Button. If all these % are about even then you're playing too many hands out of...

Re: NL50 QQ - I suck at reraised pots

yeah i think i check call is good under the circumstances. keeps the pot under control against an unknown tag. If hes c/betting with AK he'll most likely slow down on the turn if a blank hits.
