Re: Q9s draw +midpair play on turn
It looks ugly but I play it the same. You're getting decent odds on the call. I wouldn't try to get creative when you have absolutely no idea how much fold equity a check-raise would give you. CO...

Re: nl100 ak i hate the flop minraise
Preflop is key to this hand. What hand could button possibly have after cold calling two bets preflop that would fold to a 3bet push? He has a set or an overpair so much more often than complete air....

Re: nl100 kj looks like a bluffer help
To be honest, this villain probably didn't think "am I value betting or am I bluffing" as he dragged his slider to the max. He might be (and probably was) value betting his 10, when infact he was...

Re: 100nl - I suck at playing overpairs OOP.
I think the majority of his range will be pocket pairs, with the possibility that he is floating with overs sometimes.
I check-call here. Bet the river if he checks behind, check-call/check-fold...

Re: [100nl] Stack-a-donk gone bad, what now
As played, call. Diamonds didn't get there, neither did 910 or 79.
It is my impression that stack-a-donk is calling a raise on the flop OOP then check raising. He hasn't shown any aggressiveness...

1/2 A10s Interesting Turn
Villain is a regular at Party SSNL and plays a TAG style (26/19).
What's a good line to take on the turn? If you advocate leading the turn, can you justify it?
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $...

Re: NL200 doublebarrel
Second barrel is standard here. Make sure you bet enough to make flush draws go away, $30 is on the small side but it's still ok. I'd bet more on the flop, but if this is your standard continuation...

Re: Aces turn line check
Turn is fine. More often than not a c/r AI attempt will fail when he checks behind, so I play it exactly the same.

Re: Quantifying the Online Dollar
I play for fun, but it's getting to the stage where I'm winning meaningful sums of money and may want to start cashing out. It hurts a lot to lose, but only because of the time required to get back...

Re: set of deuces, line here?
That's not a valid reason to call on the flop. You haven't shown down one of your flop raises so he doesn't know what you have. Eventually he's going to figure you're FOS. If you keep raising then...

Re: 910 suited after 3-bet, need help
Whoops. Thought you were open ended and picked up flush draw on turn.
Deleted earlier post, sorry for confusion /images/graemlins/smile.gif
As played, it's fine then.

Re: What\'s the best (bluff) line here?
You're not representing anything believeable. If villain is aggressive enough and will second barrel here, c/r the turn all-in rather than lead out. Much more believeable and you've got a strong draw...

Re: I hate myself..AQ played sooooooo bad
You're folding out all of the hands you want to be getting value from. The only likely draw is J10 and that doesn't seem likely given flop action.
Save this line for sets/2pairs/combo draws/air.

Re: SSNL [cheese] thread: JAN (nc)
Play horrendously, suck out in a monster pot, end up 3.5BI.

Re: Folded a set of 4\'s

Re: Ax on button flop trips...
Raise flop to $9. If he has an overpair then he's in trouble. As you're all deep, start building the pot early so you can get AI by the river. If they fold the flop then they didn't have much anyway...

Re: AA Turn Spot
What is villain limp-calling with preflop? I doubt the straight is in play, so it's most likely you're up against the flush or a smaller PP that may or may not have a FD.
I check behind whilst...
