Does TT really make sense here though? After the flop, villain had...

Re: sudden river aggression

My initial thought was to simply call down. I would be very tempted to raise but the aggression did come from no where. Without a specific read, I think I call down.

Re: TPGK, paired board HU.

IMO betting the turn is fine. You are in a pretty good situation. Villain is loose but not real aggressive, especially pre-flop. I think when I am check-raised, I save my 2BB and fold.

What does it mean to peel?

I have heard this term used on the board, but I never exactly understood what it meant. Example: "He does not peel much after the flop".

Re: nice fold or donk fold?

He is in the blind, so he could have a trashy two pair. How many hands is that aggro factor over? I have found that requires many hands to get a good read on how aggressive a player is. Did you have...

Re: AA in trouble?

[ QUOTE ]

This is wrong, even assuming BB folds and you are heads up with MP1. Then you are assuming that MP1 will fire another barrel on the river, so you have to add 1BB to the pot which results...

Re: KQo from MP - Need turn and river help

If you are going to c/r the river, would leading the river be a better play? If you are willing to put two bets in on the river, would it be better to nullify the three bet?

Re: How to collect the biggest pot?

I think I would check-raise that flop. You know UTG is going to bet, so you could trap some additional bets that way. But what if UTG three bets?

Check-raising the flop may also camouflage your...

Re: AA in trouble?

It is a mutliway pot which is going to make things very expensive if you continue to play. Your sample size is pretty small though. The pot is not huge, but it is a decent size.

I am thinking I...

raise pre flop!!

I agree with this. You need to raise with that hand before the flop. If you raise, and are then re-raised later in the hand, then maybe the small blind...

Re: AKs in a huge pot

Grunching...

In that big of a pot, I like the fact that you committed yourself and became aggressive. But I would probably check on the river. What hands do you think he would lay down here?

We hear all the time about the mistakes that Hitler made. In your opinion, what was the biggest mistake made by all major powers in the war?

Also, do you feel Iwo Jima was necessary?

Re: A pair of aces threatened by a river raise.

The first thing I notice is the passive nature of MP1 throughout the hand. Do you have general idea of his skill? A very good player would simply overcall and hope that you would raise it up again,...

Re: TPTK + Redraws vs. Field on Scary Board

Are you betting this turn if a club does not fall? If you answer is yes, then you certainly have to be the turn here. I think it is an easy bet, but I can see why you are bit gunshy. I figure MP2...

I say checking with the intent to check/raise is a bad idea for 2 reasons.

Re: KQo without position and my first attempt at isolation (two hands)

With hand 1, I see no problem with calling with so many players in the pot. Did you think about semi-bluffing the turn? (I am grunching here, so sorry if it has been addressed)

On hand 2, was the...

Re: AQs - 449 - 3 opponents

I do not bet the river here. Against one player, I might. But with two, one of them has you beat. If they paid off when the K landed on the turn, they will call the river. I would check/fold.
