Re: Extracting value from a calling station

He's a calling station yet you fire < half pot on the river. I would bet at least 50. He probably can't fold any pair for that much. Also I don't think he'll ever induce a bluff against a guy this...

Re: I\'m trying this new thing called: checking

I bet flop like always against this guy. His 3-bet calling range is probably huge. Also if you are betting the turn then I think you need to bet the river as well if he calls.

Re: 100 NL...150 BB deep...I have a plan for the river and things get ugly

this is too standard. Call quickly and it's only a 3 bet on the river.

Re: Hop on the Criticism Train

BTW this is for the first hand.

What's his bet/calling range on the turn? If you think it includes most of 67s,77-JJ, Q10s and QJs then I think it's ok. Standard is c/c though right and c/c nearly...

I would bet about $70 on the turn and fold to a push. I don't think you played it bad but as played I would have to call river and make a note. I think his range is...

thoughts on K_man2307? I think he plays 2/4 now though.

Re: Facing huge donklead overshove on the flop 200NL

When your ahead he will have decent equity, when your behind you are drawing very thin. This is a horrible flop for many made hands so I guess he could be doing this with some very strong holdings...

You only have to be right < 1/3. I call.

requin said the flop bet looks like an A and I agree. Say he bets the full pot instead of slightly less, i feel thats more indicative of a pair. You still play the hand the same...

Re: Top 2, I need a line. 400 NL

I think its because we only have 1/2 a psb that makes it kind of akward and close between c/f and shove. If we had like 250 behind covered by opponent on this river then I think everyone would be...

Re: Top 2, I need a line. 400 NL

This is a river c/f imo. If the villain is anything close to standard then it seems unlikely he could have anything worse that he would bet when checked to on the river and anything worse he is...

Re: crying call with KK??

I think your hand is pretty face up unless you have a very wide 3 betting range you didn't mention. Is he game enough to try to force you to fold JJ+.

Re: Is villain to passive to call the river?

Does villain play draws agro post flop? If he is likely to c/r most draws on this flop then obviously this won't be a missed draw nearly enough.

If he is most likely to c/c with his draws then I...

Re: AQ misses the flop against a looser preflop RRer

wtf? If you think he's shoving such a "massive range" then AQ is ahead and you can/should call after 4 betting. I doubt he's really that wild though.

Re: Nuts on turn in reraised pot - 3/6 5max

This situation seems pretty irrelevant when considering his range. He's not folding 1010 obviously or AA on this turn for a half pot size bet. If he has QQ or JJ then he is probably going to fold a...

Re: AQ misses the flop against a looser preflop RRer

A king isn't "very vulnerable" just because there are 2 cards of the same suit on the flop HU in a 3 bet pot. Your not repping KQ- with a raise here. I agree with ipokeder this is a more common line...

If you want to raise the flop make it 150. Having said that I think flop is any easy call. No one is value betting worse then your hand in a 3 way pot on the turn or river so you will get the...

111 into 400 on turn, is that standard with anything?
