Re: 10+1 MTT: Does Villain have to beat King high straight here?

Okay, cool, that makes sense. I'd still like to hear an extended explanation on the semi-bluffing thing though, if you're willing. Isn't that board too ugly to semibluff? I just feel that we'd be...

Re: 10+1 MTT: Does Villain have to beat King high straight here?

I guess I just don't understand your reasoning lev. Do you really think we're behind villains ranges here? Unless I had some sort of read that either of the villains knew what they were doing, I am...

10 + 1 5k : Two spots I butchered post flop

Stars 5k, I misplayed both of these hands pretty badly postflop (at least I think), but don't know what the correct line would have been for either.

Hand 1 - I just got to this table, so don't...

2 dolla donkament: Two spots deep in money

Decided to play a two dollar tournament for fun last night and ran into two spots that I wasn't sure what the correct move was.

Hand 1 - Went for the squeeze and got pushed over by the short...

Re: 25NL : Set facing huge raise on river

Yea, I pretty much agree with everything you said Ricky. I know what you're thinking Profish, because its pretty much what I was thinking exactly during the hand, but if we think it through, I think...

Re: 25NL : Set facing huge raise on river

I agree that I should have c/r flop. At the time I was worried about losing him since he was so nitty, dumb play by me. Oh well, will do better next time.

25NL : Set facing huge raise on river

Villain plays very nitty (I have him at about 10/4 over a few hundred hands), I'm not overly impressed with his postflop skill. Even though he's super nitty, is this still a call?

PokerStars...

Re: $11 - 88 in BB with 20-BB

Maybe its just me, but I would just fold this PF. As pointed out in OP, even if flop comes great for us (all low cards etc.) what can we really do? We pretty much have to bet/fold to a raise, which...

Re: Deep ITM $5 6max : Spew w/ AK?

Sean311, the fold equity is very good in this spot because we're nearing the FT, and I'm making a reraise in position against a villain w/ no read on me. Theres pretty much nobody thats calling my...

Deep ITM $5 6max : Spew w/ AK?

I'm 6 or 7 out of 18 left. No reads on villain, he was literally just moved to the table. This hand went exactly as I had hoped it would - I checked the flop and made a weak turn bet hoping to induce...

Re: 99 late in $5 tourney

Okay, after some time to think I see how bad this is. I'm pretty new to tournaments and I get over aggressive sometimes. Out of curiosity, does anyone shove if SB is not in the hand? I guess I just...

Re: 99 late in $5 tourney

I'd shove the flop because, as I said, I'm positive he has a draw or at very best a weak pair that I think I can shove him off. Yea, it's a $5, but I don't think he's calling off a third of his stack...

99 late in $5 tourney

So, I should have just shoved on the flop, right? I'm positive he's either drawing at the flush/straight or has a weak pair. Given the turn, was shoving still the right play, even though I messed up...

Re: PS $10 180 near bubble

I would shove PF here. If villain has any clue what he is doing, he's opening a large range of hands which you are well ahead of. If he wakes up with a monster, tough luck, on to the next tourney....

Re: FT Sweat: 10 NL 6-Handed on Bodog

Re: 25NL - Does anyone else call this huge overbet?

I figured someone would bring this up. I was thinking of raising, but would that really accomplish anything? If I raise and get re-raised, I pretty much have to fold. If I raise and get called, it...

Re: 16s : bottom pair and fd on flop

Well, normally I'd just toss this pf, but that aside, this is a c/c I'd say. I figure if you're playing 98s to a raise heads up, you're doing it in hopes that you're gonna hit something to extract a...

Re: $15 + 1; AQ 3 handed facing two pushes

Okay, glad to see I'm in the majority here. I had to think about this for a few seconds but I ended up calling. Was just wondering if anyone could give me a convincing argument for folding.

$15 + 1; AQ 3 handed facing two pushes

This situation just came up and I'm confused about the right play here - is this a call or a fold? I apologize for the janked up history, I'm waiting for my license to validate for Dogwatch...
