I found the same contrast between my STT play and my 6-max play. I think the answer lies somewhere rooted in the fact that there is unequivocally an optimal play to make at every instant...

I didn't apply for Yale. Writing a 250-word is a serious beat.

Re: (27) Two awkward low PP hands

I def fold #1.

#2 is tough for me. The relevant read for two is not necessarily the calling ranges for the blinds, but to me what is frequently more important is my assessment of whether the...

Being oop sucks. Committing huge amounts of chips on the flop against that many opponents (like checkraising 3 people) is just asking for trouble.

Re: (39) AQ TPTK vs the whole table

Re: Simple Pleasures: Drinks

De facto official drink of Chile: Pisco + Coca Cola, creatively called a "Piscola" or "Piscolita."

It's super easy. Fill glass 1/2 with ice, 1:1 Pisco and Coke.

Pisco is incredibly cheap...

Re: (39) 22 vs a knucklehead

-...

I fold, even with your specific read. You're stack is in fine shape, and it's the bubble. No need to call and be involved in a t1200 pot on the turn, which is starting to closely resemble the size...
