Re: Why should poker advocates carry water for sportsbettors ?

I live in Nevada and both of my senators voted against the UIGEA (even John Ensign who is a republican). While I was extremely upset with the republican party for coming up with this ridiculous...

Just because you have posted more often here than I, it doesn't make you more knowledgeable about this or any other subject.

Re: Why should poker advocates carry water for sportsbettors ?

Engineer:

Name one form of gambling which is legal where the government doesn't get a piece of the action via tax revenues? Do you honestly believe the UIGEA was passed because gambling on the...

Re: Good: my response from Congressman Ron Paul

These days the republicans are separated into 2 groups:

Those that are controlled by the religious right and the true conservatives like Ron Paul (most true conservative republicans are...

Re: Badugi river decision - 3 pat hands

A flat call is the best option here.

If you raise, the chances are Joe will either 3 bet or fold.

Also, I'm assuming Joe knows how loose DD is and might not give you credit for a huge hand and...

Re: Neteller Poll: Would you go back?

Jay:

The $55 million was the amount stolen by the DOJ but the entire net worth of ALL U.S. Neteller accounts (which the monies are all inaccesible) has to be over a BILLION dollars.

Clearly,...

Re: CPA on when Neteller $ returned

What's retarded is when people get pleasure out of scaring others with posts that have NO FACTUAL CONTENT whatsoever.

Re: Another continuance in NETeller case granted

They should have 2 Neteller threads:

One for U.S. customers who have had their money stolen and another thread for non U.S. customers.

Re: Neteller Poll: Would you go back?

I absolutely stand by my earlier comments that using Neteller is insane from this point forward.

The U.S. represented about 80% of Neteller's business and they completely rolled over when asked by...

Re: CPA on when Neteller $ returned

There are tons of people here on this forum that try to scare people daily and Gergery is probably one of them.

Re: Neteller Poll: Would you go back?

Anybody who would use Neteller after this debacle whether they are U.S. based or not should have their head examined.

Its always a possibility that other countries will go after online gambling in...

Re: Goofy Devil\'s Advocate argument for UIGEA

The politicians who came up with the UIGEA can care less about problem gamblers. The UIGEA was passed because the U.S. government is unable to collect taxes from offshore outlets.

Our congressmen...

Re: Who Reports Their Online Winnings to the IRS

1. Deposit $1,000 into a poker site at start of 2006.

2. Play great poker all year and turn the $1,000 into $10,000 by the end of 2006.

3. Request $10,000 cashout from poker site into Neteller....
