Re: TPGK on the river facing bet

I really disagree with the second part of your advice. What worse hands do you think I am being check/called by twice in a 4way minraised pot here? A river bet is essentially all-in for 100bb.

Re: AKs vs preflopnit

against those stats i would fold unless you have any 3betting history whatsoever. or if you see him push w/ some regularity in similar spots

Re: instesting spot / wierd move

this action makes no sense. can you edit? if it's anywhere near what i think it is i think the river bet is fine though i'd probably bet a little less as your folding equity is approx the same. ...

Re: 400NL AA against unexpected riverpush.

to be clear, i would never fold in the heat of the moment. but i still think it's a fold.

Re: 400NL AA against unexpected riverpush.

i think i'd fold. he is obviously not good so stuff like 45s, 46s, 34s are def. in his range. also in his range are Axcc, 35cc, 44, 22, and possibly 99 but pretty unlikely. kk/qq aren't totally...

Re: 400NL JJ, overpair in reraised pot.

i'd probably fold preflop, and i'd fold the river. his betsizing is too value-ish, and esp after the turn check he probably thinks he'll get looked up light here.

i might minraise flop since...

Re: FTP 5/10: Cold 4bet With QQ

Yeah - I hate calling, it just makes no sense unless we can get a ton of information based on his flop play, which i doubt we can.

i'd pitch it, this is aa/kk too often.

Re: 400NL Set, uglyish board.

i keep going back and forth on this, and i think it's pretty close tbh.

arguments for calling:

1. you are getting 2-1.
2. if you are ahead, you are way ahead (90%+)
3. if you're behind,...

Re: Set bad board river descision?

i'd call, qj/kj probably bet the flop, so you're really only worried about jt/78 or something.

Re: TT overpair vs tagfish 2/4

ok, but how often does he have a lower pocket pair, how often does he call with it, and he is not calling w/ AJss at all... you crazy! i would just c/f or c/c depending on betsizing, timing tells,...

Re: Trips, Donk overbet shoves river. 200bb deep

because him overbetting the river drastically changes his range? i don't see why the two are mutually exclusive. you seem to be implying that if we get all-in by check/calling an overbet shove on...

Re: weird situation. is there any ethics consideration here?

this reminds me of that hand posted a few months back where some guy showed AA preflop and the other guy pushed all-in anyway with KK saying "this is such a cooler."

just do what that guy did

Re: Ugggh, set fold

"I think its interesting though all the people who say make it 3 on the turn want to call the river."

why is that interesting? we have a very good hand against a line that doesn't make any sense.

Re: Nl3/6 I hate you. I really do

first of all his hand range consists almost entirely of made hands w/ some showdown value. how would his betting range EVER be greater than his calling range? now you are saying he's folding...

Generally in a spot like this, you can't bet the river if you can't fold to a raise.

Re: KINGS - 4 handed 3 bet pot

well yeah i guess we can't really fold flop since aq is so much in UTG's range, and i suppose btn could have tt/jj or something.

but what about folding the turn? would he really bet twice with aq...
