Re: Pokerstars VPP

if i had played 10 times that number of hands, i would say i get >10% more fpps

after 1743 hands it's most likely just variance, although i thought it was strange, since the tables weren't any...

Re: So Pokerstars 5/10 LHE is beatable after all

I'm a sucker for FPPs. I was a solid 1.7BB winner at 2/4, but i decided to go for 500k VPP, which i'm gonna reach in 3-4 Weeks, thx to the insane Rake on 5/10.
Overall it's not soooo bad, since the...

Re: It\'s so easy, so damn easy!

It's 5 handed, UTG raise qith QJo is pretty standard

I would take a look at his Went to Showdown. If he can fold from time to time go ahead and donk the Turn.

Re: AK totally lost

i don't fold after that action. Should be a 3 way split more than 25% of the time.

Re: Trying to learn to raise for a free SD

in a smallish headsup pot it's usually alright to let villain bet into you if you can reasonably showdown. A Turn 3 bet would be a small disaster.
When the pot gets bigger, the raise is a nice play...

Re: Trying to learn to raise for a free SD

there is a difference between Free SD and Semibluffing the Turn. Semibluffing means that you usually can't show down, and hope the combination of your draw coming in and the fold equity you create on...

Re: 3/6 vs 5/T SH on stars

imo 5/10 is a pretty tough combination of high rake and pretty aggressive play
+ tons of regulars play 5/10 if there aren't enough higher games going

Re: Donk bets on the flop

thats usually my top priority when taking notes
What the **** are they donking with?

I don't like raising the flop with overs though, since most donks are weal pairs or draws, which won't fold...

Re: TPBK vs overaggro BTN PF 3b

Nice Wa/Wb,

i'd only consider 3 betting the flop and bet turn/river if villain is _very_ showdownbound

Re: Baronzeus gets decimated by ScHnibl0r

Still great to see him at 1k/2k, considering he was being staked for midlimits just 6 months ago. He certainly is very talented

Re: Verkaufe AMAZON.DE-Gutscheine

hat jemand erfahrung mit 500er Gutscheinen ?
Solange die nur 41000 FPP kosten sind die Gutscheine wahrscheinlich besser als der Porsche :/
Und Pokerstars wird den Preis dafür wohl bald anpassen.

Re: questionable turn and river play with AQo UI

i actually like it. It sure looks like he has a worse Ace after the checkbehind. But you could make an argument for c/c because of the busted FD as well.
I'm not sure about the turncheck. Probably...

Re: i fold TPTK - again

ouch
i could not fold this, since there are many utg hands you can beat

Re: give up or bluff river

Bet against unknown
This pot is definately worth fighting for. He could be easily on a draw and bluff bet if checked to. A high might give up as well.

Re: JT hand

JTs would be enough for me to isolate a UTG limper
as played: call river, probably he got desperate with A5 or even worse

Re: 5-10 line check

i'd raise the turn for value almost everytime, since his 3 bet range preflop is reasonably wide.
against very aggro types calldown is fine imo, since they 3 barrel no matter what and i would hate...
