nl100:top 2 on 3flush board - call smallish river bet?

Villain seems fishy, 78/7 but only over 75 hands. Anyone betting the turn here? I checked behind for pot control mainly.

Re: nl100:turned straight on montone flop - fold river?

Appreciate the feedback - fwiw I did call and he showed Qd7d for the flush, made a note inc. the fact that he doesn't mind playing suited junk for a raise. cheers folks

nl100:turned straight on montone flop - fold river?

Villain joined the table just a few orbits ago. The only pot we played together he called my 3bet with 34s while on the button and won a reasonable pot off me after turning a straight...

NL25, annoying spot with set of Kings

Ok, so I think I made a slight mess of this hand. Not got much on villain, all I've seen him do is bet very small with marginal one-pair hands.

Re: A thought on the minirais and a strange scenario...

As far as I can see, the only reason the call is correct in case 2 is purely because he has already invested $4 in the pot and his pot odds decision is whether or not to call an extra $4 into a pot...

Anything on villain? or how you've been playing and might be perceived?

I've been playing fairly standard tag, haven't seen villain get out of line at all either. I was 4...

Re: NL50, QQ: I think I got outplayed but was it avoidable?

Cheers, just wanted to make sure more than anything else. Annoying spot but I guess just have to take them sometimes.

NL50, QQ: I think I got outplayed but was it avoidable?

Sorry I don't actually have the HH cause this hand was played at work but its fairly straightforward how it played out. NL50 on Party, not been at the table long either so no real reads.

Re: Limp-reraising in microlimit games

Cheers that's pretty much confirmed what I thought. I think it was on a Cardrunners video when I heard FruityPro say he could never understand why someone would limp-reraise and thats what got me...

Re: Limp-reraising in microlimit games

Cheers for the responses, yeah my game very rarely involves much limping so I guess observant opponents might clock on to what I was doing. And I agree with the part about basically telling the...

Limp-reraising in microlimit games

Was just wondering what peoples opinions it were, I couldn't seem to find any other threads on the subject. Are there certain table dynamics where it might be justified? I mean in general it seems to...

Re: Official Party Regulars Thread: Part II

Yeah I agree, you need to pick your spots a bit more carefully at NL50. It took me a while to adjust after beating NL25 for a while but once you've settled into your comfort zone you'll see there are...

Re: NL25, turned straight, line check

Thanks for all the advice, much appreciated - looking at it now I can see I probably missed out on some value from how I played it (villain folded to river bet), don't normally suffer from FPS but it...
