Re: NL25 - free play / weak 2pair

In my experience at this level loose aggresive players such as villain have large ranges in this scenario. I think you could concievably put him on 9T-AT, or even a flush draw.

What's your image...

Re: NL50 AA to CRAI

Definately call, there's no question here at all. He definately doesn't have KK or QQ here more than 75% of the time.

Re: KK check-raised on an TTx flop

I think it's more likely that he'll get it in with a mid-pair on the flop. This is because any overcard to his pair is a scare card. This means we should raise the flop if enough of his range...

Re: nl 100, I played my AA extremely passive. line check.

Obviously you're not getting maximum value out of your AA and you're giving him every opportunity to out draw you.

I'd like to see a c.bet on the flop here, as you should try to get some value...

Re: KK check-raised on an TTx flop

He's giving us odds of 4.5:1 so there's no way we're folding here.

Call or raise?

His range conatins mostly pockets, blufss and hearts.

5% Against bluffs we want to call do induce another...

Re: Ric Flair says Whooooooooooo

If he bets here he's gonna get paid off, assuming he has the ten, so there's no need to check as most of the time he's just passing up value on his hand. This is why I think there's a slim chance of...

Re: Ric Flair says Whooooooooooo

I think the river here is really interesting. Assume you're bluff will be about 1/2 pot size.

I think his range is about 10% hands with tens: ATs,TT,JTo,JTs etc.

Without any information it's...

Re: I REALLY don\'t like folding...especially sets.

What NSM said. People do random stuff. You need a much better read to even think about getting away here.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, I agree - I didn't look at how small the sample size of...

Set over set sucks but this is the type of action you want with a set. You're not behind to a flush or straight so you have to get it on without a very specific read on your opponent. I...

Re: I REALLY don\'t like folding...especially sets.

I can see that nobody wants to fold this set (and I don't think I would either - because I play at $25NL and people play so bad there that this could even be a misplayed AT) but no one has given any...

Re: I REALLY don\'t like folding...especially sets.

T8 is so unlikely because of the preflop action. He's quite tight and tight players don't tend to call with this T8 in the small blind unless it's just completing the blind.

There isn't anything on the board that beats you but a set so there's no way you can fold here. He could easily have a random two-pair or a flush draw or air in order of likelihood.

Re: I REALLY don\'t like folding...especially sets.

Why can he not get away here? Does anything other than set over set make sense?

Re: Top 2...facing two all-ins

It's so unlikely that any of them called a 5x bb raise with 34. I reckon you're mostly worried about the set, but most likely you're getting value from calling out the worse two pairs. SB definately...

Yeah, its from a sample of about 300 hands. I just remembered being at the table thinking that he was a tight player, the when posting I went to get the data from my poker tracker and it turned out...

Re: Combo draw, over pot bet, my action?

Cheers guys that was a fairly quick unanimous response.

What actually happened was that I pushed thinking he had alot of fold equity. I figured him for a solid made hand such as two pair of...

Re: Combo draw, over pot bet, my action?

The post may not be clear so just to confirm - the BB (villain) led the flop.

Combo draw, over pot bet, my action?

Playing $.12/$.25 NL 6 max on pacific poker. I've been quite aggressive so far and have played with villain in a couple of sessions in the past few days, my 99 out ran his AA just before this hand on...

Re: toppair with flushdraw againt nit how to play??

"Why don't you take their word for it?"

Because their word hasn't been justified.

You're pretty much correct - I play $.12/$.25NLH (6max). This is because my bankroll is too small to safely...

Re: AKsoooooooooted NL50 FTP Vs 57/25

Hello Henry.

He must have some fold equity as alot of player will think you've c.bet with nothing and seen weakness in your check, so they too could make the turn bet wth nothing - I'd say at...
