Clearly in today's games there are situations that arise where limping...

Re: 200nl 6max DEEP- Raised flop NutFLushDraw facing 4 bet push!

Meh... I don't really like how you played this one. I prefer a very large raise with this particular hand on the flop as well as with sets/top two for balance.

My reasoning is that I want to get...

I like this thread. Seems everyone has a definition of spew. Mine is as follows.

Re: what in the hell do i do here

Step one - ID your opponent.

Villain is a tard.

Step two - make appropriate poker decision based on villain's tendencies.

You have JJ against a tard on one of the few boards that your hand...

Re: OT: How often do regs spew?

I spew constantly, not necessarily every session, but almost certainly every day.

I just try to recognize it and play better once I do see it. I always try to utilize my spewy image too.

Re: QJ trips, Villian pushes

meh, looks mostly like TT to me.

So, you decided to flat call his flop donk bet. That's fine, this play certainly has value, raising has value as well. As long as you're mixing it up, I like it....

I liked your play here, especially with two people in the pot. Thanks for calling me a donk several times too.

I'm never folding river for this bet amount... this is a crying call against this type of opponent usually though.

Re: Newbie requests : Open up your game guide for ssnl

I can think of a couple of things new players can do to profitably open up their game.

For both of these "training sessions" you should pick a low limit where the money means very little to you. ...

I don't think I've ever been weak tight before, but I'll work on upping...

Re: Villain open shove flops in 3bet pot

Here's a hand from today's session. Without a read on a player, I'm of the snapcall variety for stacks of 100bb, larger than that and I'll consider folding hands like the one OP had. I just think...

Re: Donk or Not to Donk that is the question???

Standard and appropriate play imo. Against a player this aggressive, you could easily be pushing that $200 as an equity favorite on this flop, but not nearly as likely to be a favorite on the turn. ...

Back to Basics - EV here? QQ Preflop
