Re: A hand I read about

the hand certainly makes more sense if it's the Kd. Ya some meta stuff going to here.

[/ QUOTE ]

if the river is the kd then he should be c/f'ing b/c theres almost no hand that...

Re: 63o - hand vs Private Joker

[ QUOTE ]
Not really. Think about it from PJ's prospective: That turn 6 was pretty innocuous (there's no way it should improve any hand on the turn, right?). So he'll probably think snowball was...

Re: cp 30

Was there a flush draw on the flop? I can't figure out what this guy would call/cap w/that he wouldn't bet on the turn. The river might be a bet fold, but I don't want to give schneids a chance to...

Re: Huge pot with heavy flop action

raise pf accomplishes nothing, calling here is right play. The problem with this hand comes from the fact that you dont know how many outs you have. a 7 could make someone else a strait or a better...

Seems like a trivially easy bet to me. Large pot, decent hand, live game where people often bet out the river when they make obvious hands because they themselves are terrified...

Re: 10/20: What can he have? What can I beat?

I like cc'ing the flop and reevalutating. I don't really like putting in too many bets on the flop or turn and I'm perfectly content to watch pf capper bet.

Re: 10/20: What can he have? What can I beat?

If you are assuming this guy is solid then I think your logic is reasonable in the way you played the turn and the river.

But I think you may be making a bigger mistake by giving capper...

Re: How to tell girlfriend about amount of money spent playing poker

Totally agreed w/Jkamowitz. I took my g/f to vegas when she didn't know anything about gambling. Once she saw the inside of the bellagio and all the nice restaurants, I was home free. It also...

Re: Folding T/B pairs for one bet on the River.

2 pair see showdown for me, I can't bear to fold it on this board, especially when JT is a distinct possiblity, as is KdQd. If he's got 22 or TT pay the man his money and make a mental note. As...

Re: 50/100 - 3 hands, 1 session

Hand 1: QT is his most likely hand here. Usually when they raise this turn it means TP no good. I just toss it

Hand 2: Checking here on the turn is ok b/c there's not too many free cards left to...

Check and try to hit your 2 outer to a win or 8 outer to a chop.

so, if the river is a 2 and you get bet into, you are folding?

Re: 10/20 AKo at the Borg

Flop is fine, raising is ok here but I don't love it. He's got top 2, 55, or an oesd a lot here. I don't think he's limping utg w/Q9 so he's either got KQ or QTs and I don't think he's betting out...

Re: Typical insane action Wynn hand

I think the flop c-bet is quite bad. We're never folding out better hands or other aces and we might get c/r'd. Take the free card and reevaluate on the turn.

Re: A9o facing 2 bets on flop

[ QUOTE ]
Easy 3-bet. Only hands TAG can have, that you're behind to are 33 and 66. Most likely is T9s, 98s or a flushdraw.

Re: Every street debatable

Flop c/r is standard. It puts pressure on a button raiser w/a wide variety of hands that hate this flop. How do you feel w/QTo no heart? How bout AT no heart? You've gotta c/r here to balance...

Re: live 8/16 anybody raise this river?

Raise the flop not the turn you have the best hand here a significant amount of the time and you can eliminate buttone who likely has 2 overcards to the board. It makes this whole hand play out much...

Re: .25-.50 6max - fold river?

Easy river fold, I prolly fold the flop, but prolly still call the turn. On the flop you've got crap equity, about the only hand you're good against is a hand like T9. Sure he could be bluffing a...

Re: A few hands from a live 10/20 game

With regards to hand 2, I figured that he would be raising for a free card at least one time in 8, in which case I would likely still be ahead and he'd check the turn, which is why I...
