Re: TP2K OOP vs. limping fish

Considering he has fish stats, I think the turn min raise after flop smooth call screams strength. All you beat is a bluff and a fish doesn't bluff raise like that. I see a definite fold.

Re: 100NL: QQ overpair facing turn raise

Yeah I think I'm behind his range here for sure. A reg may not necessarily raise a set on the flop considering how aggro 6 max games are becoming these days but 2 pair and strong combo draw that...

100NL: QQ overpair facing turn raise

This hand was against a regular on Full Tilt playing 21/16/4 over 300 hands or so. What's his range here and what should I do on the turn?

Win rate at .50/1

What's a sustainable win rate at short handed 100NL? What numbers should I be using for PT auto rate? I'm wondering what my long term hourly rate would look like 5-6 tabling.

Re: Official Stars Sunday

out in 76th place. After losing a coinflip earlier AKs<QQ I've been nursing a short stack of about half the average for an hour and a half. Finally lost an all in T8s<AJ.

Re: Stars $30 FT: TT 5 handed

I've been definitely one of more aggressive players at the table doing a lot of steals, a few resteals, and flop cbets. I thought the insta minraise was either a set or slowplayed monster preflop. In...

Stars $30 FT: TT 5 handed

The final table of $30 freezeout. The table's been pretty tight and very responsive to preflop aggression.

Re: 60$ vs 109$ SnGs?

Slightly off topic, but I 6 table 27 turbos on Stars and have been getting 18-20% ROI. When I take shots at the 60 turbos I've been getting much worse results. I realize this is over a small sample...

Re: (60) QQ...I got check-called-led-turneded

[ QUOTE ]
I don't get why I'm getting railed for raising nearly 4xbb here. I always thought the "standard" was 3x + 1x/limper. Are those 5 chips really killing me?

Re: $27 Turbo: 88 on a 9xBB stack from EP

I am usually very selective with reraising. I would much prefer to open raise with junk than to reraise with medium pairs at this stage, especially if the table's been tight and passive (don't know...

Re: ($27) JJ 3rd hand

I would have to fold this. If you think about the range of hands he might have, just about anything except for TT and something like 98. It seems unlikely to me that he's playing smaller pocket pair...

Re: 3/6 live: K high 1 card flush

I actually raised the turn. First bettor folded and raiser reraised and was all in. I ended up paying off his A high flush.
I was wondering if my line there was ok
