Re: Any good sites for HU playmoney tables?

I play my friend on Ladbrokes on hu play money cos we are both cheap bastards too /images/graemlins/grin.gif. They have the same software as Prima so I imagine you could play there as well.

Re: moral dilemma. overchanged, return it?

Couple of weeks ago we were having a few sunny beers in the local pub. Mates go and sit in the beer garden, I go to the bar and order 4 Stella. I pay the scruffy student looking guy the £8.80 with a...

Re: 75 hits the flush do you call?

Do we shove to get the sb out or call to try and stack him too?

Re: 25NL Top two facing overbet shove

He'll have a set here sometimes but there's no way you can fold this 100bb deep in a raised pot esp. 4 handed.

Call call call call.

Re: 50NL- default action here?

We only have to call $23 to win $70. I usually get confused here and call just see wtf is going on.

Re: Post your best player notes

A few of mine are normal stuff like

'likes to l/rr with AA' and

'v passive get out if he bets'

Stuff I've typed when I'm winning.

All the rest are in CAPS where I'm on sick tilt.

Re: downswing imminent

Nice BOOMSWITCH ACTIVATION at hand 600.

10 buyins in 1000 hands is a sweet rush.

Re: oops I limped AA again

hmm that huge overbet with AA in pos. seems kinda wasteful. Suppose it's not too bad at 10nl cos they'll call with all kinds of [censored] but as you move up this is only getting called by KK and...

Re: 50NL, 134 BB\'s deep; AA check raised on 5cTs7s

I like calling here in pos. and betting any turn if checked to. A lot depends on your image though, if you've been beating the table up and being very active your hand is worth a lot more.

Really...

I think you see 23o and AA,KK here a lot.

Based on ops description and the pf action this is just plain wrong.

Re: 43 hits the wheel

You can't wait for the nuts against players like this, their money doesn't last long enough. Just shove it in and get a lazy lob-on if he calls. I'd probably shove here with any 2 pair as well.

Re: Line Check on a few hands

Hand 1: standard as long as you called his all in.

Hand 2: suppose the flop check is ok occasionally to mix it up, it looks kinda suspicious though if you're an aggro player. Monster flop though,...

Re: NL50 - Bottom Set on a monotone board in a mw pot

With 33 I'd instacall.

22 = turbomuck unless you had a read that SB would raise any pair pf. A 25/10 would probably just complete with 33 here.

I raise pf with 22 on the button too.

Re: I can\'t be scared of quads, can I ?

Yep you def. should be concerned after he check raises you on the river. If you get your push called, the vast majority of the time you will either chop or lose. Just call the river raise.

Re: T9s - You Lucky B*stard!

Just bet or raise somewhere. Anywhere. Checking behind on the flop is terrible, you'll get called by [censored] like QJ on this board.

As played river is a clear fold, all you beat is a stone...

Re: KK vs 24.2 / 15.9 Opponent - Take a look.

Bet more on the flop for sure, both times. And pot the turn, the 2 is a sweet card for you.

He's gonna have a flush on the river here a lot but you're getting sick odds to call. So call.

Re: Flopped trip aces

River is a turbo muck after the second raise, probably pay it off heads up even though anyone with an ace at least chops with you. You'll see KT here a lot.
