Re: 25NL - small straight facing river raise

At worst I just call given the villain is very passive and he hasn't been betting until the river. This is a big overbet which usually equals the nuts or close to it.

Re: Fold aces with king kicker for 3.50 on the flop?

[ QUOTE ]
Yeah I guess in this case there are a number of factors warranting a call. My image, our history, and his big stack vaporizing all lead to calling. Readless I think I should fold a...

Re: 50NL - AJo multiway line check

I can argue a case for not betting the flop. It is a paired board and most likely you have the best hand. I would lean towards a c-bet for 1/2 pot on the flop. You want to at least get heads up. ...

Re: 10nl 6max: JJ in multiway pot, minraised on T58 flop

Darn 10NL! How to read the min raise is the question. Does this guy think K10 or A10 is the nuts? He might have hit a weird two pair. I call and see what happens on the turn as he has to lead. ...

Re: New hand history session reviewer!

This seems great. In my first glance, this seems like a great tool. What we need now is a way for people to sign up and review each others sessions. Is there a way to do that now?

Re: NL 25 what to do here?

One of the only other hands I can see that might call and AI here is another flush draw or the hands listed in the pokerstove. I might have missed a few, but who calls such a big overbet shove with...

I don't like the UTG raise unless the table is extremely passive. Once you raise PF, I think a c-bet is necessary on this flop. On the turn, you picked up a OESD to go with...

Re: Passive Donk by myself

You are in a tough spot because you played this so passively. I think you are ahead of villain's range. His betting doesn't suggest a set on the flop or turn. I think he holds A3. Your bad luck...

Re: NL25: Top two staring at three-flush

I think you bet a little more than 1/2 the pot here. Don't always be afraid of the flush. If he raises, you have a tough decision. If he calls, I would put out a small blocking bet on the river. ...

Re: NL50 - QT top 2

In almost all cases, this is a raise PF. No.....I changed my mind. In every case you should raise this. I think the flop is okay. After villain checks the turn and the river, a value bet is okay....

Re: 25NL: TT in a reraised pot.

I don't think the RR PF is a bad play. Villain could have ATC and just playing position, so RR and make him play poker.

I don't mind the bet flop size in my opinion. If villain is playing a...

It would be helpful if you posted what you thought would be an accurate pokerstove range.

Re: NL 25 what to do here?

Using pokerstove, the most realistic (I don't think 7-4 is realistic here) hands villain has are:

Re: to check or to bet this turn?

If you have a good image, raise A7o before the flop. There is lots of trouble with these hands if the blinds are loose and aggressive. If they call your raise and you hit and A on the flop, you...

Re: TPBK facing 3bet on flop

I will be another to say.....RAISE this PF!!!

Now, as played, fold to his 3 bet. Wait for a better spot. This is a draw heavy board and not worth putting in much more. Even though it is NL2, I...

Re: TPTK River ewwwww

I agree with raising more on the flop. Make it at least $2 to go.

As played, villain has shown terrible weakness up until the river. I think 80% of the time this is a flush or AT. Definitely...

Re: 25NL - Going broke with TPTK

Tough situation. I think, depending on villain's aggression factor, a raise on the flop to $15 could have given you a lot of info...if you were prepared to c/c if he called you. The turn bet seems...

Re: 10NL, flopped set against flush draw

If you put him on a flush draw, he made it on the turn. He checked, so check behind to keep the pot small. You are either WA of two pair or a pair or now behind...well behind a made flush. ...

Re: NL - 50. TP LK

What is your question?

I think you need to fold this after MP turn bet. He is showing that he has a hand. You can't beat much here and the river is going to leave you with another bet. You have...

Re: 55 flops a set, and I\'m not sure it\'s good

I say bravo for the read...it was spot on. BTN showed extreme strength and you read him correctly. If you truly think he is a nit, then two sets beat you and the straight. A nit doesn't put his...

Hesitate calling to fake weakness or uncertainty and then pray UTG calls.

Looks like you made up your mind that villain had an A. Remember, this A can be a scare card for the villain too. Tough spot. I can't totally knock your c/f here. The smallish turn bet does make...
