Re: River overbet at 5/10, whats your play
You wrote the hand up in a confusing way... you have position on him, but you have yourself acting first on the flop. He check/called you on the flop, and it went check/check on the turn.
NEVER...

Re: Two hands with AI overbets.
Hand#1: If it is $432 more to call (so the stacks are $600 to start) then I would call. AQ or KJ are definitly possible. If he is doing it with a set then put a note as "Idiot who overbets when...

Re: Interesting flop spot, 3/6
$140 on the flop. He raises, and you push. Worst case you are against QQQ with 13 outs, and are a slight dog. Best case you are against AA and you have 18 outs, and are a nice favorite.

Re: Boat on the river, massive all-in overbet
Thanks for the responses folks.
I ran my timer down, but eventually called only to see AJ. Seems that was the consensus.. you have to call, but vomit away.
I realize not betting the flop was...

Re: QQ gets raised on river
Given your read the only reason this bet should be made on the river is for value against a long jack (AJ basically). Even that is stretching it thin. On the river there is no way you can call...

Would like to hear some more opinions, and thank you for your input so far!
Most have said call, but I have heard one fold.
I had no read on the opponent. I had been playing with him for...

Live 5/5 NL big river bet
Opponent is a regular at the casino, but I do not know if he is a nit or not (have not sat with him for more then an hour or two in the past).
I raise to $10 under the gun with KJo by accident...

Re: 5/10 6max AA
Tough hand. You are getting a little over 2-1, and your read makes AQ/KQ, 33/55, or a flush draw just about as likely. I would call thinking that it would be a +EV play (again, relying on your read).

Re: 2/4 - open push with gutshot... CRAZY ??
Yes, spewing. On the flop I dont really think he would bet a 10 into the pre-flop raiser, but even if he did you now loose to a 10 on the turn. Probably AQ, QQ, or A10.
Edit: Im a little tired...

Re: I still don\'t know how to play AA.
I would try to get all of my money in there. REALLY tough spot, but I believe that someone with a set would raise on such a draw heavy board. That was pretty much my determining factor is thinking...

Re: AK, good bad or i must stop playing?
I dont like it, you're just letting AJ, JJ, and hands like that draw 100% for free. Just bet your hand.
Edit: Saw the aggressive part only after reading the other replies. Like the above poster, I...

Re: QQ, calling sation donks an unpleasant flop
Raise to $180, fold to a push.
The one thing that would make me question this line is that you have been raising him pretty agressively, so he may not give you credit for an overpair. I still...

Re: 400NL: I can\'t fold AA
I have large problems with this situation too, and usually find that if I go all in here that I get insta-called and I am beat. That is my usual line, but this is where I loose a lot of money with...

Re: AA any good here?
I would call. He could have KQ putting you on AK, might have QJc, missed draw, AcX. Plenty of things that you beat, and given the villains ability to put chips in on a bluff I think you have to call....

Re: 2/4 First ever preflop AK 5-bet AI
Standard! Definitly not calling his bet, and given your read it seems like a great play. Might get him calling with 1010-JJ, which would be -EV for him (not vs. AK, long run).

Re: AK TPTK Deepish
I fold. Given his image and his stats, almost always saving myself $1700. If it is a bluff, good for him. The image he built up for the last few hours just paid off.
