Re: JJ in an awkward spot

If he got the Ace but not a great kicker Im not sure he is checkraising here, cause then he is spending a lot of big bets out of position against a good aggressive 3bettor with toppair, which...

Re: So you know im showing down, but your still betting... Hmmm..

Im a bit surprised most dont talk about how drawish the flop or turn is, because this is - besides knowing the player of course - the biggest factor in my decision. If there is a big draw on the flop...

Re: Tag donk vs. A-high

I agree with most that first time its a fold. But I also think that if he had T or K he would normally checkraise, so I would often guess draw or draw + bottom pair or a small pocketpair lower then...

Re: Do you think bots are cheating?

I think this discussion would be helped if we divided the word "cheating" into a few sub-categories.

Legal

Is it allowed to use bots?
Answer: No, it isnt.

Ethics

Is it ok to use them?

Re: Question about table selection (more specifically pokerstars 10/20 6m)

its pretty obvious that what kiddo is saying is to look for high vpip/low pfr players (45/10, etc.) and assume they make big mistakes on the postflop streets as well. If you decide to...

Re: Question about table selection (more specifically pokerstars 10/20 6m)

I dont think we disagree on this. I agree that it probably is better, or at least as good, to play against 1 big fish and 5 decent regulars, rather then 3 decent regulars and 2 38/13.

But u dont...

Re: those who do, do.... those who can\'t teach

Im not sure if u understand this, but the reason this thread is alive is because

(2) u really think there is an answer to which is harderst, NL or FL.

(3) U use smileys.

Give me one book about NL that says FL is harder or one book about FL saying NL is harder.

Most things that interests you is hard, since u now see how complicated it really is.
