Re: Quick rock paper scissors question

I insist that its paper.

How does the person react to this? Act like it was a brainfart? Try to screw you by saying it is paper or scissors to whatever is their benefit?

Re: SSSSSSSSSSUCK MY BALLZzz

I'd have a turn plan in mind before I called the flop. Everything seems like it could be reasonable now depending on the guy (probably not fold given you called flop).

Re: Trips + Straight draw on turn

Thinking, "what in the world do you have? how can you slowplay the flop?," followed by stacking off, losing, and getting very angry is completely standard for me.

Re: Live 2-5 NL, small pair

Not raising pre is more of a mistake than you think. Why would you check raise the turn? River I shrug and call i guess.

Re: 10/20 hand, should I jsut buy a skirt?

CRAI is fine/good and better since the bet came from late position. I kinda like playing AA like that too.

I dunno though, i've probably played like 3 pots this month where this many people saw...

Re: NL400 - TT, thin river vbet?

If we raise the flop he should be capable of 3betting AK all in. This could be the case but in reality i'd say it doesn't happen that much. So, I like your line and i'd bet the river as others have...

Re: 3bet situations with overpairs + a read

I kinda think we should fold JJ preflop. Maybe just don't tell anyone you did.

I guess fold hand 1 though i'm not happy about it. Sometimes they show up w/ something dumb like AJ or KJ.

Re: River decision agains twin-caracas

Am I crazy for being pretty happy about value shoving river? The king is such a bluff card for us on the turn and there is no reason why we can't two barrel it. I feel like on the turn he has some...

Re: JJ on monotone

Folding the flop is silly. I can't decide whether i like 3 betting flop or calling. I thinking calling in postion is good.

Turn I still don't think i'm folding. There are still lots of hands we...

Re: Huge multiway pot combo draw

No way I fold. There are spots where its more apparent that someone has a higher flush draw. I don't think this is one of them.

Re: FT200 4 diamonds, I have the Q

Folding is obviously ridiculous. Don't think he's playing his hand logically, he's just some random 1/2 donk.

If i have an image where people think i'm always full of it, I'd make it 60 or...

Re: THE FANTASTIC FOUR

If i had a "he does weird stuff" read, I wouldn't fold.

Re: party 5/10 bottom two in a BvB war vs Chipseater

I also think this is an easy spot to stick it in. Two pair in a blind battle on a drawy board w/ taggy regulars?...stick it in.

I guess its closer if he thinks you're nitty but now way i'm...

Re: top pair + gutter in blind battle

I wouldn't raise unless I was ok with getting it in on the flop. I really hate raising and folding here. I'd call and go from there which would probably include calling the turn as well.

First...

Re: Turn

Calling is best preflop as others have said. Sure it might be marginally profitable to 4bet and just get in, but calling and possibly getting 3 way action with JJ or in position HU is far better I...

Re: What Should I have done in this hand?

If you're going to slowplay, do it on a K 6 2 flop. The Q makes a big difference with pairs and straight draws.

Yes, raise more on turn so you can win more on river with a pot sized bet.

As...

Re: 100NL: standard fold in a RR pot after smallish raise

If we are checking the flop its with the intention of getting to a cheap showdown and inducing a bluff along the way. Check all streets call one bet, two is harder.

I don't know why you bet the...

If we think he will bet the turn if checked to I like a call and then a c/r on the turn.

Re: nl200 tptk vs instant river shove

I don't bet the turn. Not much value other than pricing out draws.

River, I dunno, nothing makes a whole lot of sense to me.

I hate your flop three bet. You're asking to get blown off your hand.

are you saying you would prefer a much bigger 3bet, or just call?

Re: Controlling 3-bet pots - need some general help

The flop continuation bet is usually good. On the turn you can check fold, or try to blow him off of 66, 88, 99, a ten, JJ with a second barrel.
