Re: PS $12 180 Flopped set vs Hyper Agressive

Lead flop, lead turn, shove river.

As sap said: there are multiple villians in this hand you have to bet it.

Re: KTs Bet sizing

[ QUOTE ]
Why not bet more on each street? It doesn't seem like you maximized your profits in this hand. If you raise pre-flop to 180 and make 2/3 pot-sized bets on flop and turn, the pot will...

Re: KK on weird board...value bet it?

I think both checking and value betting are fine. I'm inclined to think we are ahead here. FWIW I probably fire 500-600 on the river hoping he tries to pick off a bluff with A-high or TT. If he...

Re: tough/interesting spot in 3$

This is a fold IMO. The problems with the call:

* As YNnOs mentioned you are at best even money (with some death money in the pot, but not much: 435. Not enough to compensate IMO)....

Re: Calling an all in on an open ended straight draw - mistake?

I may be reading this wrong but you state that the pot after pf action is 2000. Then on the flop you bet 1000 leaving a pot of 3000. At this point villian shoves but he is only effectively shoving...

Re: 4 betting light, line check ..

I like the play alot. My only question is if you had AA what would your 4-bet amount be (or maybe you just flat call)? I mention this because you've assigned the villian a thinking image and I...

Re: 4.4/180 crappy bb hand, bottom pair

I agree with Dunkman this is poorly played from the turn on. At most your line should be check/call turn and check/call river. This villian has a J here more than he has air IMO. People love to...

Re: Range for stop n go? 5r

Mark,

Your call is correct using 10 outs which gives you 1.6-1 or 38%.

Timmay- you are confusing two cards to come which is 1.6-1 with one card to come being 3.6-1.

Re: Things it took me a while to learn part 7, Metagame and Concentrat

The only thing that I take notes on that wasn't mentioned is the guy who limps from early position and folds or calls a shove late in a tourney. This note has been valuable to me if I'm running a...

Re: What do I need to call big resteal button vs. BB

I agree that it's borderline with 77. Although, with the chance that he is doing this with air probably makes it fine. I was thinking that 66 would be a definite no FWIW.

Re: 2nd hand $5 freezeout

You should be raising a bit more pf.

The flop is a really good place to check behind and get hands that we beat to lead turn. C-betting this flop to me is bad because only hands that beat us...

Re: Aces in the $50k

This would be a standard spot for me to get it in. But after I went back and looked at the math it seemed a bit closer.

I think that the UTG limp/call pf and check/shove on the flop tightens...

Re: 4/180 88 vs flop shove.

You are getting close to 2.5-1 to call and you aren't even close to that against villians range. Plus there is another person to act. Villian's range is probably 66+, AK,QJ,QT,QK,QA at best case. ...
