Re: ***uNL Microbrew Thread*** NOV 2007 (ot)

Just in case anyone was wondering whether it's a good idea to play a session with nothing but "Battle Without Honor or Humanity" playing on loop, the short answer is no, no it's not.

Re: AK in r/r pot vs. J turn

Would he limp-rr with Ax? That's the question I'd be asking myself. I realize it's three handed, but a limp-rr like that screams a hand that he's afraid to just pick up the blinds with. If it were...

Ugh

God, I hate it when my 72o gets sucked out on by AA, put a real killjoy on my first session back at NL $25 after being a donkey at $50 for a while

Re: **Official** uNL BBV Thread - November

Decided to take a few shots at 50NL despite only having 400 in my BR, about 5 minutes into my session. BTW, Villian was paying off all ins with second pair, and was at about $225 when I sat down....

Re: Official Full TIlt Regulars Thread: Part II

If Jaymir could fold good hands when they are obviously beat, he'd be beating the game for a ton more, he calls down too much. And yeah, his table selection is horrible.

Anyone have any notes on...

Basic Question, Two Pair Facing River Bet

So, I just have kind of a basic question about these types of hands. This is a snap-call on the river right? I mean it seems to be a pretty obvious hit draw. The villian is pretty much an unknown, he...

Re: Do you give value to maniac min-raiser?

I bet $2 at least on the flop, as played I call, you are getting like 3.5 to 1, and if he has the flush or straight, you are still only a 4-1 underdog. It's possible he's bluffing the scare card or...

Go ahead, make fun of this trainwreck.

Ok, if you insist.

Seriously though, raise more on the flop. Bet more on the turn. Call the river. Whine and moan to some...

Re: AJ flops TPTK then gets lost postflop.

I think calling down and launching into a string of expletives is my standard line here.

I'm definitely not laying down for 8, getting like 3.5-1.

Re: 50NL - AQ vs LAG

I three bet pf, and raise the flop.

As played you definitely can't fold for any of the bets he made.

Re: Did I play this AK fine?

I hate when this happens to me, 20/15's limping UTG (and then calling a raise and a re-raise cold) to me is a small pocket pair most the time. If the villian really is solid he won't be calling you...

Re: 25NL Ahigh river call?

I don't put much stock in timing tells unless if it's really out of character for someone. Except for if a fish takes forever and then raises, usually that's a monster.

Here I raise less pf...

Re: AKo, great flop, facing river shove

As said, bet at least $2 on the turn, easy stack off if it goes in. If he had Ax, yes that's just variance, you are going to be taking so much money off of people like this on A-high flops if they...

Re: QQ on double pair board ,facing river shove

I raise this flop most the time. As played I think you have to fold river, sure you might have the best hand (as you did in this spot) but if villian's going to push rivers like that with a hand you...

Re: NL25 turn TPTK nut flush draw vs 2 vilains

He means Pot Equity, he hand needs to have a 28-29% chance of taking down the pot for a push to have a positive expected value.

Re: NL 20, can i make Hero call on river in this pot?

I either raise or fold the flop, depending on my image. As played I fold the river. A player like the button isn't going to fold a ten most likely in this situation.
