Re: I\'m Always Stuck Here

I like the c/c lead the turn line but wouldn't make it a standard play. Most of the time I am just betting the flop and then re-evalutating

Re: The Worst Strategy You\'ve Overheard at a Table

from my favorite donkey (I play with him at least once a weak at 2/3):
"I play all suited cards, no matter what the raise is."

Re: The rule and ettiquitte on asking to see mucked cards at showdown?

I will ask sometimes, but it has to meet the situation of a maniac/shady guy who has been angle shooting; and I ask when its allin before the flop/turn is dealt. Usually the dealer just ask to both...

Re: San Diego Cardrooms/Casinos

all rooms are open, but I think Palomar is the place to play for a TAG, if you can handle the variance.

Re: 600: I Know We All Hate It But..

I have a question for the group, when I am running tight on a table, I like to raise pocket 33 from EP, and cbet it if I can. If I hit my set, I play it like a cbet but of course I am coming over the...

Re: NL50: Tough Spot

I called the turn, 6h on the river, villian pushes in for remaining $24, getting 3:1 to call Hero?

Re: NL400 SICK laydown with KK somewhat deep

I don't see calling the flop if you are going to laydown to that turn. I go broke here, but I don't believe in the 'he has to have aces read' and have a lot of variance with my pocket Kings. Some...

Re: NL100: KK on a scary board. Am I missing a VB on the river here?

check the river, no value left. The turn card is terrible, but I would only check behind if we were willing to call a PSB on the river....against this villian I think this was the cheapest way we...

Re: NL50: Flopped set. Protect vs slowplaying...

against this villian c/r is a good line, c/c can lead to a really bad spot. I do think a lead is a good play also, with his stats, we have a good chance he could come over the top. It depends on...

Re: Leak, leak, leak! What\'s your leak?

[ QUOTE ]
1. Raising more preflop- Although it took awhile, raising in position in limped or largely folded flops with anything worth calling with was a huge awakening.
2. C- Bet that raise- Whiff...

Re: 2/4: Can he really bluff c/minraise the turn?

I am not buying the boat, because he is a 55/12 and they tend to play hands backwards. I do think he has a king or is semi bluffing a draw. So a shove may be the best play.

Re: Leak, leak, leak! What\'s your leak?

Many more leaks to improve on, but here are the recent plugs

-trying to set mine too much, now I raise with every pocket pair with an unopen/limp pot. Gives me multiple ways to win post flop, and...

Re: 2/4: Can he really bluff c/minraise the turn?

I am not buying he has a boat maybe a strong combo draw or two pair, and I wouldn't fold to a minraise with aces up. I would call here, and c/c the river unles it was a king.

Re: 200nl: Weird hand vs other LAG. Rvr flush on double paired board.

looks like a solid line to me. Only hands tha we are really afraid of Pocket 88 or 99, and if that is the case, good for him. AcJc?

Re: NL 50: Strange pre-flop raise

Results:
I shoved, because that is what I do with pocket Kings. Pocket Aces by the villian stood up. Luckily I got my money back with a set over set from him about 6 hands later.

I play this hand fast and aggressive. Only thing you are really afraid of is a set, and you still have FE against a made flush since you have the ace.

Re: 200 NL, full house played very slowly.

I like stealling the blinds.......

You are either going to make money from a fishy call or a fishy bluff. If I was villian, I think I would call a small value bet, but don't think I am betting...

Re: What yields you the most profit?

To be most profitable, I believe you play at what stakes are comfortable. If you play too many tables at low stakes, you are going to lose profit. If you play to high, then you will be loss adverse...
