I am connected to a modem, no wireless or anything. Just checked and windows firewall is on also. I never really tamper with this sort of stuff, don't know much about it.

I don't know how to answer 'Do you have a firewall'. My computer is less than a year old w/ Windows Vista, that's all I can say.
