Re: 16: I thought this was a fairly standard push

Loxxii, I think the second one may be close with antes, but is a pretty clear fold without.

Re: November RIZZZZZZZZULTS

Very happy with my month considering I was at 6.5s last month. Rolled for the 60s now but I'll probably stick to 16s until I find out how much of a heater I was really on.

6.50s don't show......

Re: Paul B (8:06:55 PM): Official STTF December Thread: General Discus

Best part of the stop n go portion of the "book".
"Stop-and-gos are rare, and when they do arise, win very small amounts of equity because most of the time the result is identical to moving in...

Re: LC: Folding Overpairs

Hey All,

I've been running miserably at the $3.40s and $6.50s lately and figured I'd do a few leak-checks. I realized that I almost never fold overpairs unless it's an...

Re: November RIZZZZZZZZULTS

Nice gramps... guess that answers my question to you in your poo-bah thread about how you convert your fpps to cash.

@tim, I dunno what you're talking about, but I have 1600x1200 on 3 20"...

Re: $22, 77 UTG in tough spot

I'm looking for a .3+ fwiw, but without a calculator I don't think we're quite getting that here. I'm thinking 88+, and I also probably shove AJo+, ATs+. Probably it should really be 88+, AJs+,...

Re: [2.25] KK in BB against lots of limpers/ ugly flop.

At this level you are guaranteed to get a caller if you shove PF.

Re: in the $ vs. out of the $

Low ITM and high 1st distribution typically means he's ITM as a big chipleader. That's also a small sample, however.

Re: $5+0.50 Playing AJs Aggressively (Too Aggressively?)

Limping is fine if table is passive, bad if active. I like it a lot more when we aren't utg+1.

Re: 55$ party very deep fish pushes from early

[ QUOTE ]
Basical, everytime you call with <= half of the range of the villain shoving, it is correct. So it is here with ATo.

Can somebody explain in simple mattiesmat language why this is a super bad call and super easy fold?
How can i recognize those spots and not make this very bad mistake?

Re: 16: I thought this was a fairly standard push

I should add that folding allows button and sb both to have the opportunity to shove-- and pretty much anything that happens here increases our equity, even if BB folds.

Re: 16: I thought this was a fairly standard push

I love wrecking the bubble, but I never see the BB calling tight enough to make this shove +EV in a 16. I know that most winning regs at this level are calling with AQo here. As BB I'd also assign...

Re: $5+0.50 Playing AJs Aggressively (Too Aggressively?)

If you were in later position a limp behind preflop is fine, or on button I may even raise if I am ahead of UTG's limping raise, but to limp behind or raise from UTG+1 is just bad, reason being that...

This is ok against most button.

He should fold almost everything here. The problem is that often he does not know it at the 6.5 and folding is better.

Why do you want to learn cash with those results? Move up to the 27s, play less tables, less stress.

Re: HU Blinds are 250/500 ($5)

WTF? Hero has 87s, not 76s, and can be pushed for over 20 BBs, and called for 6.5, per Nash EQ, of which sage is a quick approximation-- though with 7 bbs, you can shove just about *almost* anything...
