Re: NL 25- OK line vs. Med. Stack?

Don't like the C/R- which seems way too strong. Just c-bet and take it from there. I wish you had something more than a flush draw as you don't have any FE after he commits himself calling the flop.

Re: nl10 6max river call bad?

TP (which you no longer have when the jack hits) is usually never good if you're check-raised on the turn. Min-raise is even more suspicious- I think dumping this on the turn would never be a bad...

Re: 10NL Turned Set, awkward river?

I think not c-betting that flop is fine vs. 2 opps with little chance to improve. I think Villain is likely to flip AT/JT or really any Ax here more often than KQ so I want to push over on river.

Re: uNL odds quiz

Hand 1: Easy fold for me. These guys aren't deep enough to play a set against that 3-bet.

Hand 2: I'm gonna embarass myself and attempt to add this all up. Lets see, pot is about $67, it's $35...

Re: 2 Hands - KK & QQ

One more for the road. Villain is largely unknown (typical UB donk, 50/20/5 over a meager 25 hands).

Re: QQ preflop. Is folding +EV?

Call and push any non-A/K flop is what I want to do. Maybe push pre. Depends on how loose/tight villain is. Pretty sure no matter what you do, folding is very bad.

Re: 10 NL KK oop line check

I like the 4-bet, push any flop. I think you'll push too many worse hands out felting this.

EDIT: Didn't realize he was so short... nvm. You're line is fine.

Re: Easy Fold - TPTK vs. AA(?)

[ QUOTE ]
I would fold pre-flop.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm starting to see why. I just can't think of a way to play this. At best we float the flop and hopefully villain checks behind turn? Can't call a...

Re: 25NL....Was slowplaying this hand on the flop a mistake?

I take your line a lot OOP when I'm 99% sure I'm ahead on the flop and get raised. A lot of opponents will pot/push behind your turn check figuring you for overs and you have their stack. Think you...

Re: Easy Fold - TPTK vs. AA(?)

[ QUOTE ]
what's w/the donk bet?

[/ QUOTE ]

I figure leading lets him define his hand. If I'm raised it's pretty obvious he does have AA (KK probably floats). How should I have played this?...

AQo OOP vs. an 3-bet

Villain was new to the table, but overall, at this level, is dropping AQo to a 3-bet OOP a leak? Suited I make the call. Does the BTN cold caller make this worth seeing the flop?

Easy Fold - TPTK vs. AA(?)

Villain is like 60/20/1.8- At best I think I'm splitting this with another AK. Couldn't find a 4-bet OPP, unsuited.

Re: .10/,25 Flopped Set and Can\'t Shake Villian

Yep, against 1 limper on the button I'm raising 88 and getting it heads up. If I hit my set, all the better. Betting the pot on flop and turn and calling villain on river. Don't have enough...

Re: Micro Micro - Do you 4-bet QQ OOP?

So by pushing All-in pre I'm getting the most out of hands like TT, JJ & AK (they'll likely fold if they don't like the flop) and I'm most likely stacking off with KK/AA on the flop anyway?

Re: 10NL: AKo getting c/r in reraised pot

Just to clarify, everyone is advocating a push vs. the flop C/R (or 3-bet if Villain was OOP). No-one is advocating pushing as an opening bet on the flop, correct?

Standard C-bet here with TPTK...

Re: NL 5 - KK and I can\'t shake them

I'd raise that up stronger PF, especially at these stakes. 25-30.

You're committing yourself on the flop raise. Probably best to just push here, especially on such a draw heavy board.

Even...

Re: [25NL] flopped set

Value bet 2/3-3/4 of the pot on Turn and River. I think AQ calls you down and you get AK's stack. Unless you think he'll bluff/make a move on the river, aren't you trying to just extract value from a...

Re: 50NL KQo TP is minraised on flop

Is the min-C/R from an .07 ever a draw? I don't know why we'd check behind with TPGK in a c-bet spot though. I tend to give these half stacks no credit, but I think you're behind. Agree that KT is...

Re: Pocket KK again an Relative Unknown on a tough board

Thought about this longer than FT's time bank, but I think a Ten floats this flop. His 4x raise seems a little strong for a T trying to get value, especially being so far ahead. You guys are deep,...

Re: NL25 JTs OESD On Flop, Line Check

[ QUOTE ]
I don't think you can call the first flopbet with a bare straightdraw on this board.

Like you said, you only have 6 clean outs. So you'll probably make your straight 10% of the time....
