Re: Guessing Week 4 Lines

Unless Dallas really stinks it up tonight or has major injuries, I think the line for Dallas against the Rams will be a lot higher. St. Louis now has only 3 of it's original 6 O line left and...

Re: Quick PAHUD prob for stars

Are you using the preferred seat option? I never have been able to get PAHUD to work with this. I have to take the seats as they come rather than always being in one position. In an earlier patch,...

Re: PokerTracker: The Next Generation (NEW SOFTWARE DISCUSSION)

1. I would like to see something done that could easily output tax data in a table form. I currently use 1 day = 1 session, but any reasonable definition would be good for me. If this isn't...

Re: Telling people they need to lose weight (or other unpleasant thing

I agree with this speaking as a really fat guy. Trust me I know I'm huge. If you are serious about helping, a workout buddy is probably the best possible thing you can do. Who knows how many diets...

Re: Getting a cat

1. I think the illness you are talking about is Cat Scratch Fever. It's caused by a bacteria called Bartonella Henslae. I am not as up on the disease as I should be, but I am fairly sure that the...

Re: Getting a cat

1. The softpaws things do work if you keep the nails trimmed properly and you keep putting the softpaws on. Most people get tired of putting them on after a while.

2. Dogs generally are not...

Re: Getting a cat

Dean,

1. I always tell my clients that declawing is a a personal decision. I don't pansy around it, you are amputating the final bone on the toe and the nail. Untreated, it IS a damn painful...

Re: Getting a cat

This is actually one of the few things on this board I am qualified to talk about.

1. Initial cost is fairly cheap, get the cat (most shelters and rescue groups will have them by the boatloads...

Re: What would you do?

I folded, she called the 3 bet. River went check check. Seat 1 shows Trip 7's, seat 3 mucks.

I had seen them get aggressive with me and one other guy at the table. I thought the other guy...

What would you do?

I was at MGM recently playing 4-8. I am sitting in seat 8. Three times in less than an hour, I raise preflop and bet the flop. On the turn, I get checkraised by seat 1, and seat 3 makes it 3 bets....

Re: Chip denominations to encourage loose action...

I respectfully disagree. When I play 4-8, I get a rack of white and a stack of red so I can quickly get 16 or 24 out on the table. It's not logical, but I like to see at least one stack of color in...

Re: Are you smarter than a 5th grader?

I think this guy just helped improve the image of poker players in the general public by acting as a rational person and showing that we aren't all a bunch of degenerates.

Ameristar St. Charles - Impressions, small report, and question

Hi guys,

In the past, I have ripped Ameristar St. Charles for being poorly run and having slow dealers. I was back this week Thursday and Saturday night and had a much more pleasant experience.

Re: $16s - 10/20, 1010 w/ K2K flop

1. Why no raise preflop? I make this 80 to go most of the time.

2. I don't know what to do on the flop. I can see raise/fold to a 3 bet or a bet on the turn. As played I fold the turn.

I...

Re: $16: Should I just fold AK pf?

Ok this must be a significant leak for me here in hand 2. With 19xBB I am not considering shoving my stack. Why is push > raising 4-5 x BB?

Thanks for the replies,

Re: (3.30) early top pair

It may be a leak, but I bet this river at 3.3 almost 100% of the time. When you get called, I think you win a lot more than 50% of the time, enough to make this a value bet.
