Re: 100NL KK post-flop OOP facing raise

I think your average player has a draw or worse overpair often enough that this is a good shove

Re: Flop a set....time to put on my skirt....

Bet full pot on flop, that board is really draw heavy. As played bet the river, there are plenty of worse hands that can pay you off.

Re: 25NL: flop pair and flush draw, misplay on board pair?

You don't have decent implied odds when villain only has 4.55 left. I fold the turn

Re: 200 : JJ drawy board vs donk

This converter sucks, i'm not sure whether you're betting or calling. Do the other converters not work for ipoker?

Re: FT200, They be raising my set

I like a shove on the turn, he has two pair often enough

Re: AK 150bb deep, LAME

I think there's enough in the pot, that we can push if we think he folds TT and JJ, if not then C/F is good.

Shoving is the only reasonable option here.

Re: under aggro with AA

I would like this line better if the board wasn't so drawy, I think you need to make a good sized turn bet here

Re: 98 top 2, turn raise on blank turn

I probably just call the initial turn minraise and call a reasonable river bet. As played I'd say fold, it seems overwhelmingly likely that this is a set given the dryness of the board.

Re: A light call down good for the soul?

I think you need a better read here than just probably a bad loose player. I don't think many loose passive players are going to overbet shove a missed draw here.

Re: Anyone ever gotten rid of a book because it sullied your collectio

[ QUOTE ]
I've considered throwing out the two McEvoy books I own (Tournament poker and Championship NL and PL hold'em)

I have owned and thrown away both of these books

What exactly is this flop raise going to accomplish?

Re: NL200 QQ semi-deep on low board

I think the flush draws are more likely to get aggressive on the flop and i can't picture those hands min-raising. 99-JJ seem pretty optimistic given the action, I think we need to give this up on...

Re: NL100 AQ... how many barrels?

That 8 looks very unlikely to have helped your hand. Once a villain with stats like that has decided he's ahead he's probably not folding his hand. Donkeys are known for being stubborn animals. ...

Re: OESFD+Pair, Totally Lost, 1/2

Pretty awkward stack sizes, but I think a push is the best option here. If you make a smaller raise you're still going to be committed, but you'd rather get it in now with 2 cards to come. i...

Re: 100NL AA c/r AI

We have to call this, you're getting over 2-1 and even with his range at 99, JJ+ you're about 40%. Throw in some additional hands like TT and AQ and the call becomes much easier.

Re: I am ever good on this river?

I fold the flop, and raise more on the turn, as played i would call, river bet would have to be bigger for me to consider folding

Re: 25NL T8s with big draws Line Check

have to take a free card here, you likely need to improve to win the pot anyway given the all in player. It isn't worth risking your stack to secure the 1.50 side pot.

Re: 0.5$ NL AJo SB

I really hate the check raise, if your aim is to pick up a c-bet then just calling would be best, check raising is going to fold most hands you beat, and only get called by better, as played def fold

Re: Those got damn aces

Always bet the flop, the rest of the hand becomes much easier to play.
