10NL, made K flush on the flop

I should know more about villain than I do. Not much to say really - he hasn't been involved in many memorable hands.

Comments on all streets?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (8 handed)...

Re: Fold QQ pre-flop to all-in? 10NL

All in over .60? I'm not sure what to make of that - is UTG pushing junk to take down the pot, or is he hoping for a call with AA?

I fold this just because it's ridiculous. If he does it again I...

Re: NL25: Playing a strong draw correctly

Also, sorry for thread hijack but if you are villain here with pocket nines, how are you playing the river?

c/r or bet? If bet, how much? I quite like the half pot bet as it's tempting a call from...

Re: NL25: Playing a strong draw correctly

I don't think MP2 is betting the river without at least a flush now - the Ax theory has gone out of the window unless they're spades.

3-1 odds are tempting but I think you're facing a full house...

Re: Trying to improve your game? How?

By focusing on one game (NL cash) and playing a lot of hands.

I've had some success in micro SnGs and a couple of big cashes in large field micro tourneys. I've also had some success at razz...

Re: NL 50: Can I fold in this spot?

I can see the fold here. He has AA often, and what do you intend to do postflop? You could lose a lot of money finding out he has the aces.

You shouldn't use results at 10nl to gauge your skill level.
A chimpanzee in a coma could crush 10nl.

Yeah that's true - but I wouldn't believe it until he had 50k...

You have AQ, possibly of clubs.

Sorry he had 55.

Re: Can I win $30/hour playing 25NL?

Good, so a WR like that (diebitter's) can probably be achieved then, at least by a good player.

In all honesty, I'm not as "new to poker" as some in this thread seem to assume, and I do have...

Re: $25 NL - Boated up on the end, but he\'s bet every street...

I think the important thing to realise is that if you limp 99 PF, you ARE playing for set value and have to be able to get away from a J44 board.

I would raise the flop to find out where I am.

Re: Can I win $30/hour playing 25NL?

One table 10NL on Stars. The only proof I can supply is a hand history - which could be doctored of course so you'd better decide whether you accept that...

I'd wager $10 (it's just for fun isn't...

Re: Can I win $30/hour playing 25NL?

I'm glad I've given everyone a giggle anyway.

So it appears I'd need to AT LEAST six-table to win at that rate. Oh well.

I plan to play 10NL for eight hours this weekend (after which I may well...

Granted, its pretty established that your winrate can skyrocket when one or two tabling, and conversely get squelched when massively mutitabling (just ask Carter). But one table 10NL for...
