Re: 3/6 Kill Live No excuse for the PF Play!!

Good point about the 3bet. Not enough equity. I was feeling frisky and I hadn't seen this fellow play so I thought maybe he'd fold.

Thanks for the advice.

Re: Nearing a 150 BB downswing (2/4 live). Need for concern?

Nearing a 150 BB downswing (2/4 live). Need for concern?

Not sure whether to attribute this to poor play or cold cards. I haven't really changed anything about my game. Competition remains fairly constant.

This represents 25 hours of play (no kill...

Re: Playing with a \"Blind\" Drunk -- what\'s the maximum EV play here.

Keep in mind the tone of the table will change after this guy joins. People will most likely become impatient and become more aggressive.

Re: Tough matter to discuss with you guys

Nothing tough about this. If you don't see the profit in players like that then you have a lot to learn; probably should move down in stakes.

Re: How to play against a frequent straddler?

I'm not asking which of these is the bet choice. I know these are all fairly bad decisions.

I'm asking for advice on what is the best way to handle straddlers; independent of what I've witnessed.

Re: How to play against a frequent straddler?

There is a regular at one of the cardrooms I play at that does this to anyone that straddles. I've found that it's the elderly players that hate straddlers.
