Re: Too aggressive with a set?

Better recap the action Patrick, because the villian was not the preflop raiser.

Re: 50NL - Pocket jacks - decision on the Turn

So how much you should make it, 3.5$ instead of 4$? Really makes a difference

Re: 50NL - Pocket jacks - decision on the Turn

You should make it 4$ preflop. 3 limpers and you're OOP.
Why are you betting only 1/2 pot on the flop against two villains? Bet at least 8$.

As played, by betting 1/2 on both streets your villian...

Re: 50NL TPTK 3-bet pot, how to extract

Once you raise he's most likely folding all the underpairs. Probably call and bet like 12$ once he checks the river to you.

Re: 50NL: bad turn after flopping a set

Raise on the flop to at least 10$.

As played I kinda don't know, call and hope you fill up. But he could also have OP so you don't really need to fill.

Re: 25NL : Set facing huge raise on river

Raise on the flop so you can get the stacks in. As played call is ok, there are only 2 hands that beat you.

Re: 50NL: I butcher QQ on pretty much every street

If you intend to call, I hope you're then calling the turn shove as well, but since he doesn't even have a PSR behind, I'd just shove. I think that both lines are ok.

Re: Official Party Regulars Thread: Part II

Does anyone know Lets_Gamble_TAG or has any read on him? I see him playing a lot, haven't really played with him yet, but saw him a couple of times sitting with 200$+ already (NL50).

Re: 200nl stars river bluff shove

Wouldn't we raise here on a flop or at least turn with a set, so we can stack AA?

Is it possible to set that the table closes and another one opens when there are only x players at the table? And/or the table opens when there is only x players at the table?

Re: NL50 - 6max - Bottom set, multiway pot. 200BB deep

His agression factor is quite high. With the limp calling preflop we can rule out AA-QQ. 66 could be a likely holding after he c/reraises us. 2 pair hands with the queen (Q5, Q6) can be ruled out as...

Re: 50NL river play with set

Why raise river anyway? You checked the turn to induce bluff and got it, do you think he's calling your raise if he was bluffing?

He's obviously 3betting better hands, probably calling with a J...

Villain is running 21.2/4.7/3 over 200 hands. Pretty same this session, only that he has 0 AF. I'm running 10/10/0 this session, 20 hands. We had some history at this table, when he was the SB, I was...

Re: NL50: River completes FD and brings overcard, villain open pushes

We're actually 70-30 favourite on the turn if he has an overcard along with the flush draw.

Anyway he was either chasing that flush or had as beat all the way.
