Re: Being reraised less than 3x - general thoughts

I think you have to fold that pre-flop, after you were re-raised by the SB. I also don't understand what the hand has to do with what you said.

Re: 5.50$ stars TT, fold overpair?

Interesting. He's got a big stack, so presumably you should know something about how he got it. Also, limping from the button is rather odd. TJ makes a good point about the stack sizes here. That...

Re: 4/180 AQo OCs + GS vs. possible Stop N Go

What holdings do you object to? At the $4 level I think I have to stand by this range, perhaps chuck 22 and 33... (villian's qualitative range being, any piece of the flop at all, any draw, or...

Re: 4/180 AQo OCs + GS vs. possible Stop N Go

To the calculator... if you assume his range is any pair and any broadway, it's a fold (see below). Which brings up a PokerStove question: does it adjust the probability for opponents holdings based...

Re: 4/180 AQo OCs + GS vs. possible Stop N Go

Let's see, if A,Q,K are outs that's ~43% to win if we're behind. Without the gutshot it's ~25%. So it looks like a reasonable call with the gutshot but not without. Why is everyone folding this??

Re: AQs 2 spots off final table (deep) in FT $24+2 KO

I think you may have grossly understimated Villian's starting range on this hand, which tightened up after he got some stack back.

bubble question stars $6/48

Top 7 paid, final table.
Folded to Hero in the SB. What is the right way to play this and why? I think there is a decent chance we are ITM even if we push and lose, and I think BB's proper...

Re: Tilt $75 KO: Playing rags in the BB

I have got to bet the river here. He limped PF, min raised the turn, giving you decent odds to call. He is trying to get more money in the pot. I think most of the time here villian limped with a...

Re: yay me managed to turn pkt kings into a bluff

[ QUOTE ]
You have position on him correct? Why not just check behind him on the flop looking to get it in on the turn?

Villian is either way ahead and calling your flop bet or drawing to 2...
