Re: Thoughts on 50/50c versus 25/50c

We just did this, but went from .50 to 1.00 to get rid of the .25 chips. Everyone loved it. We just use the 1 - 1 blind structure. It's a social/friendly game, so no on ever folded their sb anyway.

Re: Cormac McCarthy Gives an Interview to Oprah

Pretty disapointing interview. I don't watch Oprah much, but her questions were VERY superficial. She spent far too much time drawing out just how poor McCarthy was. It was a little embarassing. ...

Re: Survivor Finale

When yau and dreamz were the last two hanging on, yau should have told dreamz that if he let go, yau would vote for cassandra and not him. Dreamz would then get to the final three without breaking...

Re: Post your favorite poem (by yourself or others)

I suffered a horrible loss almost a year ago. I read and think of this poem often.

What, what is he to do? I saw...

Re: looking for a Good Basic odds/outs NL Holdem book?

I really like Mike Petriv's Hold'em Odds Book. It's very clear and good for the probability noob. The copy i have is a spiral bound (think kinko's) homemade book from a gambling store. I had to...

Would you mind telling me (or linking) to your story of diabetes? It sounds like you had it for a long time, and didn't know it. How did you find out? How long did you have it before you were...

Re: NL25 6max: AK oop multi-PFRs

[ QUOTE ]

I figure I can narrow the MP to a big pocket pair. AA (3 ways), KK (1 way), QQ (6 ways), JJ (6 ways)...maybe JJ is less likely.

[/ QUOTE ]

Why not add AK (6 ways)?

I would just...

Re: AKs comments

If you move that River fold back to right after he re-raises the flop then I like the way this is played.

Re: 25NL: AQ, hit ace on flop, facing strong heat

I think calling the flop is a real problem. I'd much rather re-raise right here, then the hand plays itself.

As played, I think you have to fold the turn.

On the river, the board is paired and...

Re: NL50, well i didnt got my flush on the river but two pair, what no

I would definately call the river.

If he had a 2 that ace would be the perfect card for him to bet the turn on. I really doubt he'd go for the cr again.

A two or AT is such a small part of his...

Re: NC Away from the table routines for evaluation?

Wally,

I will review any big hand that I felt lost in in pokertracker.

Further, I find clicking the "game notes" tab-> "get all" and then sorting by "Net" to be a really quick way to zero in on...

Re: Plan for QQ?

I just call here and re-evaluate on the turn. If you get your stack in now, you aren't far ahead and you could be way behind.

Hop into a time machine and raise the flop?

Re: FTP NL$25 AK facing resistance - can I get away here?

I fold the turn. I don't like the flop call at all. Either fold or raise. Then the turn (if there is one) plays itself.

If he bluff raised you on the flop, he would shut down.

Re: straight reraised big 50NL

In real life, I probably call this.

But I think this is a good spot to fold. If he's not bluffing then you are tied or beat.

A bluff here is so unlikely because you raised him, and he must...
