Re: please help me fix my leak

Hello again Sir.

Your VPIP looks OK but you need to raise more preflop and be more agressive on the flop and later streets. Your aim for agression should be at or above 10. Your goal is to play...

Re: please help me fix my leak

Don't focus on your winrate until you have at least 10,000 hands.
You leaks could be:

1) Playing too many hands, especially out of position. Such as limping UTG with Ace-nine suited and middle...

PokerTracker Separation issue

I have logged 22,000 hands playing limit and a week ago I switched to No-Limit. Before I ask my question I just want to say "Are you serious?" I'm playing $10NL 6-max on Stars and am amazed at the...

Re: Recognizing Straight Boards(Major Leak Inside)

I guess I'm a bit confused, you turned a straight and was about to fold the river? The only hand that beats you is K9. Any flush draw missed and those who chase bottom ends of straights also misses. ...

Re: Hi all, i am new and i have few questions.

Some good advice. Read a few books to get yourself "thinking" more about the game how you would react in certain spots. If you cannot afford a $30 book, then go to the bookstore and read it there. ...

Re: Playing overcards aggressively

Do we have any reads? We are getting sufficient odds to call one flop bet. The villian leading flop says she has something. What's her range? What about BB and UTG?
BB and UTG could check-raise in...

Re: AA.. the reason I might play a loosing session.

With this coordinated flop all straight and flush draws are gonna stay til the river. We do not have any back door draws since our Ace is the Ace of Spades. We suffer from reverse implied odds. No...

Re: slowplay set when pot is small?

Ever consider raising p/f? I occasionally do this because of the implied odds of hitting a set. You want a big pot if you hit. If you don't just use good judgement and proceed with caution.
In your...

Re: Pocket Jacks and overcards on the board

Hand 1: Given the strength of p/f bettor I check fold turn UI. Villan will almost always show you a better hand. I would put her on QQ-AA, AKs-AQs. I'm done on the turn.

Hand 2: Calling down is...

Here's what I did.

NOTHING!-I took a 6-week break from poker...it was REALLLYY hard to do! Went to bars, drank, girls, ya know- anything to get my mind off poker. No poker books, no B&Ms, no ESPN...

Re: 18,000 and I\'m a beginner again (Goals and Attitude)

Limit full ring

90% .10c/.20c, .25c/.50c, .50c/1
10% 1/2, 5c/10c

I need to get better at notetaking. I have notes on some micro regulars though.

I also read the first three hand examples...

18,000 and I\'m a beginner again (Goals and Attitude)

I am essentially a break-even player in the micros. When things are running well I can be up to a 1BB/100 player and as low as a -1BB/100 when things are going wrong.

Over 18k hands my stats are...

Post some hands. Are you rolled for the game you're in? Are you a proven winner in lower limits over a good number of hands?

edit: I just saw the graph and the limit you're playing in. This could...

Re: good live SSLHE in San Diego area?

I've logged over 500 hours in the Ocean's 3/6 game. Very passive, easy reads, experts can have the best of it. Lots of recreational gamblers when the Race for Cash 500k things isn't going on.
