Should we re-allocate our 401K holdings due to this market?

With the current market conditions (housing crunch, low dollar, high oil prices) - to me it looks like we're heading for a recession.

I am thinking of taking 50%-75% of my current 401K holdings...

Minraises are often interpreted by opponents as value raises.

I sometimes use them as a bluff. Against the right opponent it will work better than larger raises.

I would bet around 2000 and fold to a re-raise.

If he calls your bet and you don't turn the Jack, well, I'd try to check it down and fold to a large river bet.

Just check the tables. I was at Ballys and one table had 2x and the table next to it had 5x. So you can definitely find 5x.

My department is currently in the process of being taken over by an outsourcing company. As of now I have about 70K in my 401K and 30K in my pension plan.

I'm currently 33 and will not be using...
