Re: Settle a value bet discussion

your play makes me want to give you an atomic wedgie.

Seriously, you need to put in more action here somewhere. Either 3 bet the flop, c/r the turn, or bet/3 bet the...

Re: Live 3/6 T8s in the SB

[ QUOTE ]
Even though I still have maybe 10-12 outs on the turn, since there's only 1 card left to come, I'd need at least 3 callers to bet for value. Since one player is all in, I can only get at...

Re: live 6/12 - I need a suited connectors check up

I play it the same except depending on the game and the players, I might 3 bet the flop.

Re: 4-8 live:Q-Q

As played I call. I'd prefer to bet and fold if one of the loose passive players wakes up behind me though.

Re: Live 3/6 TT hand

As stated, unless the guy is a nit, I call and then check/call down. Since he is capable of making some weird plays, I think we have to call down without any reads, but due to the speech, I think we...

Re: Live 3/6 T8s in the SB

Preflop: I call

Flop: I'd cap as well. You have a pair, flush draw and backdoor straight draws. You almost definitely have the equity against a lag and someone who has shown no strength yet.

2/4 limit spread at my local poker room.

What is the strategy...

Hey all,

It's been a couple of months since I posted last. Grad school is a biatch, but I'm done for the summer and ready to get my gambool on this weekend in Vegas. If anybody lives out there...

I love that place. My largest ever session win in terms of BBs was there.

It's definitely not the nicest card room, but you can definitely rack up some huge wins there...

Re: 55 HU against PF aggressor...

If he's the type to 3 bet AK, I'm probably calling and donking most safe turns. If he'll keep betting the turn with just overs, I may call the turn and b/f a safe river. If we actually make our...

Re: Whoops! Fun w/ 93o

Is she the type to play 98s UTG? Would she limp pf and call down that much action w/ 88? Since she's straight forward, does that mean she would 3 bet a set on the turn? Do you remember which cards...

Re: AJo after 6 limpers

The hand technically has a marginal advantage over the other players, but I still probably limp. Raising does have it's merits as far as taking control of the pot, potentially buying freecards,...

Re: 66 set

I vote for the flop c/r too. The flop has no real draws and we are almost a lock in the hand unless pf 3 bettor has QQ. I don't want to knockout the bb.

Re: 4/8 Live otb with AKo

I don't think raising the flop accomplishes much. The other players at the table are calling stations and this is not a scary flop. Many of them are probably going to peel so you are not limiting...

Re: Turned set, 9/18 live

I think this is kind of a feel hand based upon your impression of MP2 and button. If I am confident that MP2 will bet when checked to, I c/r. With the 4 straight on board, I would only lead if I...
