Re: QQQ just calls aggro bets...is that okay???

I don't like limping UTG with QQ here.

As played raise the flop because you can have almost anything here. If he has a set or any hand he is going to felt you want to get the money in before an...

Re: Take A Free Turn?

I agree with what is being said (bet flop/check turn)...

But what about betting more towards full pot on flop...I'm thinking 11.5-13?

Just a thought,

Re: TPTK - can i find another bet?

What about check/calling on the river to possibly induce a bluff, or value bet from a worse hand?

Re: iSTRONG\'s Video Tutorial #5: NL200 6-max

Line of the video:

"Horrible play by him...what the f*&^ is he doing raising me?"

Great video.

Random question: Why do you raise to 3.5 BB instead of just 4 BB?

I would be inclined to bet 75 here because I only think he is a raising a small percentage of his holdings.

Re: 50NL, I\'m trying to catch one of my two overcards with pot odds...

I would just fold the turn. Even if you hit your J or A, if you face any pressure you aren't going to be happy.

Without a good read this is a pretty easy fold.

Checkraising the turn is a bad idea since we cant be sure that villain is going to bet for us. Actually if we check the turn, I'm guessing it gets checked through around %50 of the time or...

Re: Should I have pushed set harder on flop and turn

Make a Pot sized raise on the flop, and get it in on the turn. You are allowing anyone to draw for cheap.

This is not a time to bet small in hopes of brining someone along.

Bet appropriately...

Re: top set on monotone board

I like this line...

An alternate line would be to C/R a non-spade turn. But, I think raising all looks suspicious and will win us money from his good 2nd best hands (set, two pair, pair + NFD).

Re: $25 NL - Folding QQ

[ QUOTE ]
Horrible advice.

3-bet if you want to get it in. Don't ever 3-bet-fold-to-push on drawy boards.

I probably 3-bet and call a push here. Occasionally I call and try to get it in on a...

I think calling the flop and raising the flop are close. You can call and hope that others behind you(SB/BB) call as well, so you can build a nice pot if you hit the turn.

Re: 100NL Nit raises me on the flop

I'd be tempted to just put it in here, I don't think he has to have a flush here to raise this flop. Could you see him doing this with AsJ? or KsJx?

On the other hand we might gain more value by...
