Putting Villain to the test in NL50

I was not playing well when this hand came up. Was just not in the right mental state. I'm removing my hand because what I had was irrelevant.

My image was that of a standard TAG. Villain was...

Re: ***Official April Nit Chat Thread***

Thanks for the ideas. I'm at about 11BB/100, but it's only 1500 hands. Probably not enough to say much.. I have a feeling I'm leaving money on the table though...

Edit: I realize this post sounds...

Re: NL50 Top 2 when the flush draw hits....

With the ace and king of clubs being out and the preflop action being what it was, the odds of a flush being there seemed slim.

Re: 50NL - Two hands where my set faces massive aggression.

Results since the thread seems dead, for fun.

Hand One, MP1 shows 56o, hits a seven on the river for a straight. Bleh.

Hand Two, SB shows J7o for a straight, a lovely 8 on the river fills me...

Why didn't you cbet hand 1?

I have not been cbetting as much lately and I think it shows. The board was so dry, I was hoping in the worst case scenario that I gave free...

NL50 - Extracting value with bad hands

UTG has a massive VPIP of over 80%. No info on UTG+1. MP2's preflop call like this seems to be a small pocket pair or weak ace every time so far.

Re: 50NL - Two hands where my set faces massive aggression.

Tonight I'll post some results. Both are kinda funny.

In hand one, there was an argument I should have check/shoved on the flop. My flat call got me the overcall I was looking for, but it made the...

NL50 - Changeup turns to SemiBluff..

UTG+1 Tends to try to limp a lot to see flops. SB has a VP$IP of over 80%, but is otherwise passive.

Re: 50NL - Two hands where my set faces massive aggression.

Are these both too standard to comment?

Hand one, someone said I totally butchered the flop (and I pretty much agree), so I was eager for other opinions.

Hand Two I was really unsure about the...

Re: 50NL - Trying to change up a little bit.

I had bet UTG+1 off a hand before this on the flop the exact same way, but I don't think once is enough to constitute "knowing" Villain. I should have mentioned this tho, perhaps.

50NL - Trying to change up a little bit.

I know some of you will think of this as standard, but I'm still working out how to play the suited connectors. I had position, and decided to try to use it to my advantage. Villain is unknown.

50NL - Two hands where my set faces massive aggression.

The hands play out pretty differently in my opinion, but I'd like people's opinions on my lines in both cases. Only showing relevant stack sizes.

<u>Hand one:</u> UTG is a standard TAG. MP1 is a...

Re: NL50 Weak Line with AK..

Poker Monkey: Maybe I'm confused here, but you say "If he plays like 10% of hands, you could fold if you were out of position, but calling here is best."

I mention his PFR is 7.60%, and you think...

Re: Any way i cant get away from these hands?

Admitting that I play NL50, so my question may not apply for your limits, but:

In the last one, why are you trying to go broke with only TPTK?

Re: NL50 vs a short stack.
